What is your definition of a galaxy? Currently, the singleplayer and multiplayer experience is centered around either a single solar system or a collection of solar systems, with the ability to jump between them. A collection of solar systems is a also known as... a galaxy.
I realize this is not a huge addition to gameplay but it would be cool to actually see upgrades for all ships (or even just capitals). For example, if you upgrade beams, they change color, pattern. If you upgrade armor, you actually see it on the ships. Damage effects could use an upgrade too.
This is a great idea and it would be very satisfying seeing an obvious visual change with upgrades.

I've really wanted to like the QoT, and have tried all kinds of strategies so far. The heavy minion build is a no go. They simply just don't do enough damage to be viable and seem far to easy to kill with slight AoE. The "end point" talent, which increases your gold income should be quite higher as well. I believe it's set to 4g/sec which is the same as ~ 1 demigod kill (1000g) every 4,5 minutes. The "Uproot" build didn't work for me either. It's hardly a skill worth taking at
This is going to be quite the list, eh? Feel free to add me as well. Situated in Denmark.
Yeah the score needs to move only when a team has flag advantage. I've never had a dominate game swing once the lead goes over 500 or so points..at 1000+ advantage the game is basically over because the losing team just cant catch up.
Exactly. Lower the total score needed to win and only increase a teams score when they have the majority of flags.
The Rook is a defensive demigod. Once he's been charged he has a hard time getting away from the enemy and therefore really isn't suited for offensive players unless you have backup. That being said, the Rook is the best demigod to lock down an area using towers and being able to keep other demigods micromanaging their demigod to constantly be moving if you wish to refrain from getting a direct hammer hit.

I support companies like Stardock, but you have to be realistic and be aware that pirates exist. I think they have the right attitude, not to punish the honest customers with crazy restrictive systems. Most people will purchase products, if they are priced correctly and are of the right quality. Some people will always just s
Well, since everyone else is mentioning Moo3 , and Spore , I just did as well. Awful at best. I got Star Wars - The Force Unleashed for my Wii, disregarding the mediocre reviews. Now, the story is great but the gameplay is dull and hardly as lightsaber-awesome, as it should have been... Don't buy it. Even the duel mode isn't fun. Oblivion got my negative vote as well. A bland mix really. Some excellen
This is awful reading. 1) If you want the game at launch date: Buy it 2) If you're interested in the game, but want to make sure that it's worth the money, wait for the reviews to tick in or wait for a demo. I was anxiously awaiting the new Mazda6 to hits the Mazda dealers, but breaking in 2 days before they were in the show room and taking it for a ride, really isn't justified by buying the car in the end. It's just sheer idiocy. (The example was meant solely for descrip
Just wanted to express my gratitude to you, Stardock, for this kind of behaviour! The small LAN (10 people) I attended this saturday consisted mostly of FPS players, but after playing DG over LAN using my copy, 4 people installed Impulse and bought the game the same night, while 2 more would consider buying it later. I know, I know; 4 people isn't alot, but it at least shows that the "openness" works. Thanks for an excellent product and an even better way of distributing it. I

*Bump* Is it possible to lend out your registered "copy" of Demigod without the risk of misuse of your account? Or is the "knock yourself out with LAN copies" solely meant as a household thing?, only for people, who you trust? Or did I simply not comprehend how "LAN copies" function?
This is, without a doubt, excellent. I've read the entire thread, but I cannot seem to find answers to a few of the questions asked. I've purchased Demigod and want to share it with 9 other people at a LAN event. I'm in no way interested in having anyone besides me able to utilize the key for online play. How do I manage this? Since the game can be started from outside of Impulse, my Impulse account cannot be what ties up the key. To make it short: Can I just cop
