Some users have installed IconPackager and lost the use of Windows Help & Support, the Control panel, and other programs. Restore your system, reinstall just the IconPackager and see if that caused your problems. Good luck!

Hi all, For those who tried to uninstall IconPackager and their system still do not work properly, I found this tip in the Object Desktop forum. Apparently, you have to remove this service before uninstallation. Access the command prompt, and type in the following "regsvr32 /u iprepair.dll" (do not type in the quotes ) This should save some tim
I'm also glad I found this thread! I was browing in the IconPackager Forum, where several users have similar problems. After installing IconPackager, Windows Help & Support and the Control Panel does not work, and Photoshop 5.5 crashes on startup. Uninstalling Iconpackager does not help. I was not aware you have to remove this dll I had to restore from a backup to get

My system is an AMD64 3500+ running WinXp Pro SP2 with 1 GB of memory. I'm running Kerio Personal Firewall and using Avast antivirus. I was running Windowblinds downloaded via Stardock with no problems. Only when I install Iconpackager the problem starts. Like many others in the forums, it took me some time to figure this out. I had to restore from an old Ghost backup <img src="http://ima
