Being the stubborn the i am, i decided, after the clean install to give it one more try so i wouldn't feel like i lost my money.I started with the stardock central and then, i downloaded only the desktopx, then when i restarted the computer, the same problems were back. Internet browser was not working properly(firefox worked fine),no access to "search" from the start menu(blank browser, only the little dog was there!) and it does not launch the help

I tried everything mentioned here and it did not work, i am pissed!! I just finished doing a clean system install and i will not be installing this software again, thanks for the suggestions anyway. I guess i am one fo those unlucky ones since it happnened twice to me. I just hope i can get a refund of the $50.00 i spent. Thank you

I am having the same problems and feel like i just trew away 50 bucks too! I used the trial and i had this problem but thought it was related to something else since i was installing some other softwares, so what i had to do was do a clean install on my brand new machine.
