I am posting this again as I did not get and answer in the WindowBlinds thread. I have a WB skin INVI 3V by 007INAR that is great but whenever I apply the skin or restart I have to adjust the color intensity in Vista "Window Color and Appearance" so that the windows are transparent instead of ghostly white. The setting for this is in the windowblind itself as other window blinds have different color intesities.
I like impulse a lot but would really miss the ability to be able to search the skins library. I use SDC for that more that anything.
I have the transparency back. I opened SC and it updated WB to 6.1. I believe it was updating in Inpulse that caused the issue as maybe it ignores betas. I am an happy camper, Thanks all :)

Thank you Kittymalone, I found just what you suggested but changeing the default color did not change it for that particutlar part of the menu nor for the view menu with has the same problem in this particular skin. I Just notices my explorer background which I like transparent are now opaque and the option is gone in WindowBlinds version 6.03. It this permanent? It was one of the reasons I was enjoying WB over the default Vista Aero. iam bennu

Thanks Darken, I did find out why the color intensity of the background glass effect is changing when I open a new Explorer window. I had my explorer folders set to "open in a separate process in folder options. Once I changed it the reseting stoped even on restart. Now if I could just figure out how to modify the color intensity in SkinStudio, I will be good to go. iam
I loaded a darker WB "Sirus" and it does the same thing but is black so it is in the config of the window blind. Does anyone know where I can find the setting for the background color intensity of the skin in Skin Studio? Then I could just modify it and save the changes. I can change it by opening "pesonaliszation/windows Color and Appearance" and bringing down the color intensity but if I close explorer and open it again the "ghost film" is back. WB 6.1 build 91 x86 on Vista I am using the WB "Clear" and would love to use it instead of the Vista default. Any one have the same problem and fixed it? ben</P

Sound Packager is a great application and I am excited about its implications but there should be the option of pulling in the sounds you already are using. That way, you could try out a sound scheme and then pull it in when it is perfected. I use a specialized sound scheme that has a bit more than the usual and it would be great to just pull in the sounds and have them attached to their respective trigger. Just my first impression.
