absolutely. we could use them as slaves and train them to hunt down all the illegal immigrants in this country. tell them they can be "free" citizens when they've captured/killed 200 each. after that, we can throw them in a sweatshop somewhere and make them manufacture cheap goods at .03 cents an hour. clone on. I linked into this from vampothkittymaloneikas post, so I'm sorta reviving a necrothread. This is an example of spear phishing. Targeting a specific person, with specific information. Specifically, they went after teddy using her image and her penchant for creating graphics. Nice little scam, wonder how many folks fell for it. I use paypal for all things like this. After a few scheduling hiccups, yrag called me and we discussed the isses pertaining to my situation. yrag believes that it was a problem with the way the drive was partitioned and win7 was installed. So, we deleted the partition and we'll see what happens with the BSODs. ready boost is not enable on any of the usb devices. memtest reported no errors. checkdisk reported no errors. How would I check if the dvd drive is being used by storage software? I do have Nero installed. Or is having Nero installed enough to assume its using the dvd as storage? The machine is not overclocked. What about the suggestion in reply #36? For what its worth, I unplugged both of them back when this started. I thought maybe it was the Buffalo, since that was the newest addition to the system.
