[quote who="DrJBHL" reply="3995259" id="541944"] An s-load of round about to add one simple choice which should have been there from the get go had the devs devoted minimal thought. [/quote] The original skinner just left the feature off...which is a bit silly, really.

Now, ignoring the Sysmetrix in the bottom right that I've used since forever [a compilation of my old Seiko watch face and Treetog's Antares Two graphics]... I've been using VLC as my media player for yonks but just used what was available online as a skin of choice. Issue was that the one I like did not accomodate the option for always on top, so I had to delve into an entirely ali
Remember to put out some mac-formatted floppies for Jeff to pass on that virus to the aliens...;)
I "had to" reboot my Win7 machine yesterday, Kaspersky had an update and popped up the reboot request, and I was having an issue with MS Teams ... so what the heck... Checked my 'uptime' as it tends to be long .... turns out the last time I'd shut down was when I was away overnight last... and that was about a week before Christmas, 2025. Uptime was 180-something days. It's really nice when your OS is no longer supported and you don't have to cope with bullshit MS Upda
Static only. Only time I've ever had something animated was while checking an upload submission to Wincustomize. ;)
All my machines running 7 AND 10 also are running 0patch. I simply refuse to dump perfectly good machines into landfill at the whim of Redmond's concept of forced obsolescence. It actually should be illegal.

I'm certain that if I did that the result would be "What on earth is Windows 7?"
The Sites' Forums are currently in rewrite so now and then there may be temporary glitches. I've struck issues with quoting recently [several days ago], but not so much recently.
Can you post your issue here... DeskScapes 2026 Release Feedback Thread - Stardock Forums If not, as you can see your thread has posted so someone will respond soonish.

50 years as a Race Official with noise levels often over 120db and I'm pretty darn deaf but am yet to get hold of some Aids... probably because I really need to determine whether I action the likes of the FIA and FIM for failing to maintain a 'safe' work environment. Should be a shoe-in as I was required to wear their comms equipment all that time and it was obviously not up to the task of ear protection.

Now and then I look back on the Forum in the Admin site and see some of those "What we really need" posts. If, during the site rewrite someone would inadvertently connect the database of all the gallery comments so a single spam IP ban cleared all the instances in one fell swoop. I have a dream. One day all spam can be deleted equally [simultaneously] ....;)
Yes, that was me who prompted naroon1 to post his monthly AI graphics thread. It may not be something I will ever use, or want to use, but I know it's the future and is and/or will be extremely popular. I only know that because of my history of graphics without its use. ;)
Having been a Professional Designer [Architect] for 50 years I will never adopt AI as a 'tool' for graphic art, not when I was doing life drawing 54 years ago. Architecture itself has been rendered mechanical and lifeless by CAD already, even before the 1-click wonder of synthetic craft.
I don't remember you being on the list of lost accounts, but the login was problematic for several people at the time... just follow Basj's solution/action.
First involvement with computers was in 1969 or 70 ...Fortran and punch cards that were amazingly underwhelming. Second was visiting my brother in law who worked for the Snowy Mountains Authority as a Civil Engineer.... he had his own 'terminal' on his desk about the size of the original Xerox photo copier that had its own 5k ram independent of the mainframe that took up the floor below. That would have been about 1970 when I was still 15. I think I still have my first c

Yes, as Doc says...it's the url that AVG is in a panic about. My 'solution' to annoyances with windows 11 was just staying native with the Windows 7 look by continuing to run Windows 7. [lateral thinking]...;)
