I have Windows 10 pro v. 1903. I feel quite limited (moreso than with Win 7) in what I can do to customize my desktop, but my system runs well now. I don't want to bog it down. I am wondering how big a resource hog Windowblinds 10.84 is? And I am also wondering if Windowblinds will interfere with games such as SkyRim or Kingdom Come?
Neil, What is Impulse? As mentioned above, when I open "My Account" there is a "Registrations" tab and I think my WB keycode is listed there. I just repaired my system (cost me money, too) and I am not real eager to load and install another program that I don't know anything about and may never use again. I am running Windowblinds 5.1 on an XP SP3 system. I just recently had the OS "repaired" (what, if I understand correctly, amounts to a reinstall of Windows). Before the repair, I was noticing some problems with Windowblinds. It seemed as if the shutdown skin was not the one I usually associate with the skin and it also seemed as if I was getting that same shutdown skin no matter what overall skin I was using. I have been using Corel Capture to do scren captures but it doesn't seem to want to capture Window Blinds title bars and borders. Does anyone have a suggestion for a freeware screen cap program that will capture WB? thanks
I hate to dump water on all this back slapping but I disagree. While the general look of the site is OK--I can take it or leave it...and I'll certainly get used to it--the site has lost some important functionality. Just for starters, the total number of skins in each category is now missing. Before you could tell with a glance if new skins had been added. I just DL'd Stardock Central and updatred everything that could be updatred and now I have a new program called tweakshell, but no help files for it. It opens up with a whole lot of programs all checked...mostly applications that do not, and have not been starting (as far as I know) when Windows starts. I ran across TorsionBar the other day here on WC and I really like it. I was wondering if the kind person...(Mike Bryant, I think??)...who recently updated it, or the original author (Dangeruss??) would be open to a request to make it into a suite? Complete with IconPagager, CursorXP, toolbar icons, download animations, and logout window? It's a very good looking and unique skin. Worth the effort, I think.

Two quick questions...is there a way to colour just one elelment of a skin...with WB5? I have a skin I really like (Octane)as far as borders and such is concerned but the menu bars and window backgrounds are just too dark.
