I seen in a vid a close up of a world, a city? Was that just for the intro video or was that how close we can zoom into our planets? I know there are no ground combats to speak of which is fine, but zooming in to see your planet would be, well astonishing among all other things we can do in this game. Just curious :)

If this is a great hit, (Which I think it will be) have you guys ever considered maybe taking this format to a constant online world? Not an MMO because it would be no way an MMO, but a system of maps that could be played and while the player was gone others in his faction could take over or maybe AI that would defend accordingly, but you wouldn't have offensive till you logged on. Eh, I have played so many RTS and turn based in my old age, the one thing I think about Micro is it is meant for manageable levels. From what I have read on this game, the size and scope of your units and the game in general would make micro a nightmare on large games. I think the devs did this justice, thou I would have also opted for some sort of movement animation, but after watching all the vids, I don't see it very feasible when the game gets into a ton of units at once. Well this one was hidden away now wasn't it? I didn't even know about the title till the preview of the MP was done at IGN. After reading threw it and sounding intresting enough, came over here to see the details. Very nice guys, so impressed I did a pre-order at my local gamestop today. Looks great from what I see and from what I have read I am not even seeing the final :) very nice. It is about time someone made a epic scale space fleet sim :) Can't wait for these month long battles
