How do I remove Vista Codecs Pack 4.2.7? I figure this might be the cause of the .dream files not working.

I'm having the same issues with the built in dreamscene file and another .dream file. Also it won't work with 1 of 4 HD .wmv files I downloaded from MS (the Dolphins_1080.wmv file). I tried installing the vista codec package 4.2.7, but it made no difference.
