Fix for search engine bug? in Space Rangers 2 Stardock Forums

Hi, just bought the SR2 complete package. I played SR2 a while back, and one of my favourite features was the search engine. I've been reading through the forum, and realise that there's a bug with the search engine filters that Netriak has fixed but apparently hasn't been updated on Impulse? Why is that so? Shouldn't all bugfixes and updates be released through Impulse so that everybody can access them? Just wondering...

Sorry for the sidetrack, but does anybody know where to get a copy of SMAC and SMAX? I have been hunting down these gems recently and the only places are on Amazon for 99 pounds!! What happened to game prices for 8 year old games?
