The in game lore says that before humans were encountered, everyone was using stargates to travel around but there were dismantled after the invention of the hyper-drive. On some of the larger maps getting around takes a long time. A solution would be to make a stargate station that allows for instant (next turn) travel between 2 gates. It's supported by the lore so there shouldn't be a reason for them not to be built.

To the OP, why not just get a new fan? Its not that hard, if you know the socket type you should be able to get one for 30 to 60 for air cooled. You take the old one out, clean off the thermal paste off the CPU, put new thermal paste on the new cooler if it doesn't have it, then screw/lock everything down and your set. Hardware is easy.

With the insane amount of work you've put into a "mod", why not just make your own game. I've seen a few fan made games out that are fairly decent. There are plenty of free game making software tools out there, Kickstarter could help you get the funds to get it going, then bug CBS to get the rights to make it, if they see how committed you to make the game they might let you do it. Okay you latest post on the system requirements says I can't play this game because of the OS, (Win vista, 7 and 8) but I was able to play a game and I'm running XP SP3. Am I special or did you guys screw up? If you did screw up, please notify everyone about it because you could have ticked off a bunch of people who wanted to play the game but loved winxp too much to upgrade.

Technically the asteriods are the moons, they dont have to be nice and round like our moon, even mars has 2 asteriod moons
