Thanks for the reply. Perhaps you should change the page stating that verion 3.5 is coming this month as it is dated August 2007. I must add though that it is very difficuly for people browsing your site as to what the latest versions of the software and this goes for all products. The history pages do not tie up with the release versions well and potential buyers visiting the Forums can only get more confused. Hi Guys, I am looking to buy DesktopX Pro. Please could someone clarify what the latest version is? Stardocks website seems to be a complete mess as some pages reference 2.4 as the latest version, some point to 3.2 and another shows 3.5 "to be released this month" back in August 2007. I agree, If OD works fine without the Sidebar running then surely it is the Sidebar causing the issue. Then again, nothing is always that simple.

Hi arlab, I am running 1.90i[b].020 on Vista x64 without any problems. You can get via Stardock Central if you have a purchased copy of ObjectDock Plus. I have had very few issues with it, the ones I did have seem to have been ironed out with Vista updates and more recently running Vista SP1. There is a new version 1.95 coming out soon but not sure exactly when it will be available and if there are any real enhancements etc...

UnderTheGun1, Either I am missing the point or you are? As CerebroJD said, this is a shortcut program, whatever you do to password protect the shortcuts on your PC without actually encrypting your data it will be vulnerable. OD is not designed to do this. Did you not answer the question yourself; "It's safer to use application locking encryption from within the application...outside of the original container." I would be very surprised and extremely annoyed if there is any charge for a full Vista x64 supported version of OD. As far as I can remember this functionality was promised with this version and it was not until I actually installed it that I found out that these functions were not supported but were to follow. I think there are a few of us becoming quite sceptical if this functionality will ever be supported under Vista x64, lets hope we or at least I am proved wrong. Cheers!

Thanks, Please could you specify a timeframe, is there an alpha or beta available we can look at? I don`t think I am being unreasonable asking for these, after all we have all paid for this functionality. Back in January you stated that this functionality would be available within a couple of months and we are still waiting. Thanks again.....

The link that was posted doesn't work... Hi, Try it again, the link does work. If you still have trouble just search Wincustomize for "animated shortcut" You need to download the plugin, extract it to your Docklets directory, then from ObjectDock, Add > New "Animated Shortcut" Docklet. Hope this helps.

Enable / Disable docks - possible feature request! in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

Hi, Perhaps I am missing somehting but is there any way to disable certain docks. All I can find is that you have to remove the dock and can then Load it if you made a backup. If such a feature does not exist then could you please consider it, it would be great to just enable/disable docks from the My Docks page. Thanks.

Hi Bluediablito: We'll be adding SystemTray support back for Vista & 64bit shortly, as in within the next few months. That's the only specific feature that's not available, though, in Vista we recommend running ObjectDock "as administrator" where applicable.
