I fixed it , it seemes the problem lies with nis 2008..I disabled the protect from crimeware option which is part of the norton confidential from the norton toolbar that goes on IE 7 at the top and now it doesnt dissapear anymore..

Everytime i use internet explorer 7 my deskscapes animated wallpaper folder dissapears from my desktop background picture location ..i have to log off and on again for the deskscapes animated wallpaper folder to appear again under my desktop background picture location .Then i go ahead and use internet explorer 7 again and when i check back on my desktop background picture location it's missing again ! Please i need some help as to why this is happening and how i can fix it ?

I finally found the way to clear the desktop background picture location history..I really think this should be made a sticky since nobody has been able to find the solution.. Here is the solution - open up regedit and go to the following 2 registry locations.. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Deskscapes\WallpaperFolders HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Wallpapers \ Images when you get to wallpaperfolders delete w

They are all mpg and before all of the thumbnails represented the widescreen aspect ratio and its very strange as to how some of them that were widescreen all of a sudden magically represent standard ratio..How do i get them all to represent widescreen aspect ratio again ?

Why is the thumbnails of some of my dreams bigger than the other ones ? a few days ago they were all the same size..I just download the 3 new dreams and the thumbnails also appear big ..This is really weird behavior that i dont understand .any help would be great ? dreamscapes folder in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Does anybody have the problem when the desktop freezes usually when there is a dream playing that the dreamscapes folder is missing when you back to personalize my desktop and scroll down ? The dreamscene folder is always there but the dreamscape folder dissapears...It reappears when i restart my pc but is there a way to stop this from happening ? By the way my descapes folder is located in my documents folder..

I have a 17 in monitor and when i go choose the sharkpit dream there is always a black bar at the end and i have it set on stretch..Why is this happening as this dont happen with my other dreams..If i set it to crop it fills the screen but i dont get the whole image..Is there an updated fixed version of the sharkpit without the bars ?

All of a sudden the thumbnail is showing up again after dreamscene crashed and the desktop turned black and the little error that pops up on the bottom right corner stating dreamscenes has encountered a problem ..seems like that's the way of regaining the thumbnails from the looks of it..Next time that happens i'll just ry to make it crash again..

No, i didnt install any other video software , i remember doing a defrag with o&o defrag but besides that no video software was installed..It's really odd how the other 4 content pack dreamscenes show the thumbnail but the streetlamp doesnt..if i could just get the streetlamp dream cached with the thumbnail from somewhere that would solve everything.All i would do is delete the streetlamp with the generic thumbnail and replace it with one that is cached..But there is nowhere to download just the

I have deskscapes installed and these are the 4 dreamscene pack ultimate extras that i downloaded from windows update..They are all mpeg when windows vista installs it from the update..Somehow the streetlamp dream with the waterdrops seems to not show the preview anymore but the other ones do as you can see in the first picture that i posted ..No matter if i uninstall and then do download it from the windows update again , it will still not show the thumbnail picture..It used to do before but no
