The worst thing with Vista was that I often got a blue screen at boot up . Then the computer would prompt me whether I wanted to run windows recovery. It did this at least 5 times in a week. This was on a new computer running an Athlon duo core 5000+ with the latest main board. It was an open box computer that had previously been returned. I tried Madden 2004 on Windows Vista. With graphics at a high resolution the players were running in slow motion. I had to drop the graphics to 800 X 600 but the graphics were still not perfectly smooth. Some sequences slow and others faster. Some of the computers do not come with a disk. The Acer I purchased only has the copy on the harddrive and does not have a hard copy. bit_smart

My computer has failed to boot properly in 3 of the 5 days that I have had my new computer. Shortly, after the boot process begins the process stops at a blank screen and a short time later it asks if I want to attempt to recover. Has anyone else had problems booting with Windows Vista? bit_smart
