Sorry for posting in an old thread... but I tried this and got an error when changing the settings. Here are the details (I can't make heads or tails out of them, but I thought they might be useful). I'm on Vista 64bit with UAC enabled. Settings work in preview but not when I run the .scr file or if Windows runs it (it goes back to default, same as the original version). @Philly: Took your advice and downloaded everything from this website. ;) The only programs I like are DeskScapes (aesthetics), ObjectDock (useful), TweakVista (takes care of things I normally wouldn't, and lets me take care of still more), and WindowBlinds (though I don't think I'd buy it... I downloaded it less than three hours ago. But if it expires I don't think I'll bother... I hate having something expire just as I'm getting used to it. Do the other Wincustomize trials also expire? 'Cause I'll uninstall if they do (and buy the full version later when I have more cash ;D).

I installed the trial version of WindowBlinds, then two themes I liked: Azenis 2 and BlackSystem. Neither works. When I switch to it, it puts up an old version of Windows (1998 I think). Is this supposed to happen because it's a trial, or am I installing wrong (err, it happened automatically, so I assume it's correct)? TIA.
