Macbooks are a waste of money if you look at the specs they can be almost double for the same GPU and CPU. Anyway CPUs are pretty much done due to fundumental laws of phyisics being that they cant go as faster then the speed of light no matter how much power you throw at it. So if you have one from the last 3 or even 4 years ago your probably fine. Graphics cards are still increasing but not at the speed they were. I dont think capatalism is ready for that yet anyway. If everyone did that could you imagine what would happen? The system might actually be benifitial to the consumer. In which case the universe would fold in on itself. Better to wirte a book on it and wait for a nation to pick it up years later and try it first.

well in other games havent they just released a compatablity patch? where you get all the content and can see it you just cant use it.....i suppose that would severly unbalance the game so i guess your getting 3 diffrent games balence 3 diffrent ways

If it ran slower before to the point you could hardly hear it....I would recomend opening the back panal up and cleaning it out with compressed air. it may still be getting hot even though its not under much stress.

Put your computer on High proformance for the batery then max your fans out.....run reg cleaners defrag hard drive turn off not nessicary programs anything to free up prossesor power. other then that you really cant to much. There are ways to overclock your gpu but in your case it wont be nessisary. You can get a new lap top for 700 USD now that runs almost anything 9800M GS is the standered cheep card that can run this game really well. but there really is not alot you can do about

Apparently not......It is hard to belive that this is not supported on our cards....we have to wait for new drivers? That will be a long time. So its kind of lame that its not what its supposed to be.

I use hamachi over ico for host complications. Its easer then portforwarding and my university blocks my connection so its far less illigal then tunneling threw there firewalls.

Did you try typing in the hamachi ip of the host? Normaly you need to direct connect it does not useually show up.

I play both still from when they came out. Graphics for nwn2 are really a impovement They dont look half as bad as world of warcraft. But maybe you should try to play online increase your fun. I know a good story server for you for nwn1 and same for nwn2 if your intresed and its still rather close to the same game so if you think you want to buy it and your realy like nwn1 you going to like nwn2 if you can get passed the few bugs. I dont trust ebay and I dont think you want to build your own however I would look for other companies a little less mainstream but sence your going for a cheeper end computer thats probably fine. I notice HP and Dell charge over the top prices on performace goods I am not sure about the lower end i would recomend either getting 2 or 4 gigs of ram 3 will not work well i cant remember why it has to do with frequencies or voltage but you wont get the most out of it if you dont have a even numbe
