Im playing a challenging game with maximum opponents and minor races with abundant everything.... So right at aboutt the time every1 is wraping up the colonizing phase, b4 any1 has troop transports, OR the populations too use them, the largest planets only have 6 billion ppl, for every1, and most only have 1-3 billion. As a player this cap agrivates the crap outta me..... realisticly if u have lots of unspent tax dollars laying around ur bueracrates and public officials start skimming ur treasury too buy vaction homes, cars, and hookers;) This is just how its always been and there's no reason why that should ever change.... Damn realist civ simulators with actuall reality in it, foo
NO1 read my post did they???? I DID have star bases a full sector off the nearest planet AND picket ships with nothing but sensors..... the uber fast troop transports i designed could still go from outside sensor range too right on top my planetss.... really agrivating. This game im adding garrison forces of tiny little ships, didn't have enough of that last game, turned real bad real fast. Course these little buggers couldn't hold off a real fleet. That's what im bitchen about
ITS A FRICKIN STAR BASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGE ANY GIANT WEAPON SYSTEMS CARRIED BY A HUGE SHIP SHOULD BEABLE TOO BE MOUNTE DON A STAR BASE, ITS JUST SILLY.
WHat good are sensors????? SO i played my 1st game as a Terrian Alliance and saved the changes, got spanked and started over with some cutomized Altarians.... Everythings going great and then one day the Terrans declare war and the 2000 troop transport I had built for them with 3 warp engines starts dancing all over my empire surrounded by star bases with recon vessels that have a sensor range of 8!!!!!!! ANd these star bases were way off the empire boarders and they just jump
