someone explain favor in Demigod Demigod Forums

In single player, you can win and win, saving up your points. Then play another day, and they've been reset to like 150. And your purchases you've made are gone. In multiplayer, you can win a match, then go into another match, and favor points have been reset to 0. I just don't understand. Is this a bug? Or are there different "types" of multiplayer games that require different "brackets" of favor points? In Single player skirm
