The game was clearly released far too early to coincide with the release of the book. However Stardock have proven time and again they have the best post launch support and customer communication in the industry. I'll continue to go out of my way to give them my $$$

Galactic Civlizations is, in my opinion and many others, easily the best TBS game that presently exists. It blows Civ 4 away. One of the main reasons for that is that it doesn't include MP. See the OP. I've played Civ 4 extensively, since its original inception on the Amiga in the early 90's. The series went stagnant at the same time it started looking at MP and has been ever since. You guys have an unparalleled reputation largely because of your ongoign commitment to the games you go with after you launch them, long term, in terms of fixing, further development and listening to your player community.
