VB and DX compatibility in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

I've recently gotten into OS customization, and love the trial I am using so far, but I want to be able to make my own desktops, so I'm picking up coding (Specifically VB), and PS. What I'm asking is does DX support .NET code? So far from what I've read there are a few differences between .NET Framework coding and VB coding without .NET support.
