Ah yeah, but the issue is its displaying my full real name in game. I don't care that much but I'd rather not have it floating around in there.

Ummm, meet the man before you jump to conclusions. Also the game was developed as a multiplayer system, so having a story to have characters go toe to toe with one another isn't really needed. I'm not sure why you were looking for some huge indepth single player experience, but the whole thing is about as complicated as Mortal Combat. Fight all the others, the winner becomes the god, so you fight and do well and you'll ascend to godhood... Fits right along with all other fighting game
