working fine for me in ie7 on xp pro sp4 and in vista ultimate sp2 ie8 i have occasionally seen weird stuff when the formatting toolbar doesnt load. you know its not right when the text you have typed appears in a different font like Courier or something.
DAUNTLESS: a couple of additional notes... Because of this I play my online games mostly on WiFi connections and thought that maybe an N band router would give me better WiFi gaming performance since I can’t always use an Ethernet connection. your modem/connection speed is more important than the router........doesn't help to have 10+ MBs router on a 3 MBs conn

it would depend on the capability of the screen. there should be a native resolution that the screen supports. look for that and set your video adapter to that res.
no they postted in forum a while back that screen shot graphics are not final production graphics.
if it not via phase stabilizer or between stars everything should use the phase lane. guess its a glitch. only thing like i have seen is when two planets are really close to each other and slightly off the same plane. ai ships kinda freak out close the edge of the grav well for a while and then finally jump or i get to the planet can kill them. i kill them all dead.
they are not a part of unmodded sins. i think there is or someone is working on a mod that includes black holes.

download impluse and register your copy of sins. restart impluse and it should begin checking for updates automagicly. to register, click the lightning bolt orb in the top left corner. click register a product. click add registration at the bottom.
does it still get the shakes if you play a long game on lower graphic quality? if it starts shaking and you save the game. does it still happen after being away for a few hours? if everything is high and it only happens after you've played for a while, maybe the video chip sets are over heating. i know crysis is a hog, but who knows. maybe a fur ball took up residence and its heating things up.

this thread is such an anomoly on the sins boards. hostility just seems odd around here. granted, this guy can have his opinion. most of us just think he is wrong. we dont know how he plays. maybe everything he does in sins is purely about moving his fleets around to blow up stuff. for the rest of the sins community, we see diplo as a way to bring new life into sins. it could change the focus of the game similar to how entrenchment did. sinc
buy entrenchment if it goes on sale again. im a single player/lan player against ai only type of guy. the harder ai's are much more aggressive and able to handle starbases better. the devs have done a great job at keeping the game entertaining even if you have dug in as deeply as you can.
dont feel about the MP scene. i've never played an internet game and there are several others that havent even played lan games. we are all one big happy family so dont worry about it. :) terms between single players and internet players are usually pretty close in defination. when you start digging into mods though anything goes. they will start to develop their own acronyms that the rest of us wont know or even be concerned with. glad your joining you
st armada 2 allowed a 3d enviroment it is caused all kinds of havoc. defenses were ineffective unless manually placed, fleets flying on different planes would pass each other in space. it was cool to try to sneak past planets using extream z axis planes but it ended up just being annoying because the interface couldnt handle it. take the ui of sword of the stars. there is a game that has zero use for 3d and the forced the space to appear in a 3d realm. it makes

if in vista, make sure you allow the update to run as an administrator. uac catches it on my pc and prompts if i want to do it. i say yes, and it runs. worst case, uninstall impulse, reinstall impulse and it should be the latest version.
i would say it is most likely monitor related. do you have a lcd or crt monitor? can the lcd handle multiple resolutions or is there a "best" res. is the res of the monitor in windows the same as the res selection in game?
