Thank you for your reply. I see what I'm doing wrong. I had the expectation that when I drag an app to the tiles window (with shift), that it would automatically add the shortcut as well to the tile window. Instead I have to add all of the apps I want first, then it works as expected.

I just started using Tiles and while I really like it, I had expected that when I add an app to a page, when I reopen that app, that it would appear in the page again? Now, the app only lives on the page until I close the app. If I reopen it, its not on my custom page any longer. I'm going to guess I'm doing something wrong. =) Can someone point me to how to get pages to remember what I want in them? Thanks, -Troy
I've used this functionality in other apps like Display Fusion and would like to see the same thing here. I use two monitors. I'd like for the quick launch to only display icons for apps that are displayed on their specific monitors. This allows me to find my apps much quicker as I tend to keep certain apps on certain monitors. Hopefully this is already possible and I'm just missing it, but if not, please add it! =) Thanks
I just started using this again myself and am running into this problem as well. Just another note in the "How do I do this?!" section. =)
Is there any timeframe on the next beta release? I'm sure you guys have been busy coding and I'd like to see both what's next, but also have some of the known issues in Beta1 fixed. Since I'm using 2.0 every day, it'd be nice. =) I'm not trying to force a date out of you guys (I'm a software dev myself and know how development works), but do you have any guestimate as to around when we might see another beta release? Thanks!
It really has nothing to do with that it can be done another way. There's a reason that there are already multiple ways to do the same things in many pieces of software, Fences (and this exact function) included. I tend to do things differently than I guess you do, in that I don't like middle mouse button clicks, I find them awkward. I'd guess that's also the case for others and probably Fences devs as well, and why there are multiple options to accomplish
I have 3 monitors and when I go to click the edge of the screen to drag desktop pages, I tend to end up on the other monitor since the cursor moves to the next monitor on accident. Basically I have to be very careful and click the right area. Because of this, I'd like to be able to configure how many pixels from the edge of the monitor that I can click and drag from. Right now it seems like it's probably around 10-15 pixels, for me, something like 30 would be bet
I just installed the beta for Fences 2 (I like it!), but one feature that I want to use, doesn't work that well for me. I use 3 monitors here at work, and when I drag the fences, they move to the other monitor. Basically they move as a whole. I'd like to be able to scroll pages on each monitor so I can pull up various tools and whatnot on one monitor and leave my primary monitor fences alone, etc. Thanks! -Troy
Just an FYI, I have this same issue, but only at work where I'm locked down behind a firewall, various security software and windows group policies. However, it doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes when I boot up. I log out (or reboot, either way is the same) until it works again and there's no issue for weeks at a time. So for me, I can work around it, but I have no idea what trips it up exactly. Other than as I've mentioned this is only at wo
What you're asking for is called a "rollup", and... not a bad idea, I second this. =)
