Elemental has potential. However, the main problem I have run into with it is that it crashes a lot. It still has some memory leaks that cause the game to die with a pop up "Out of Memory". It also dies with nothing to explain it. In order to complete a game, you have to be ready to replay a portion every time you reload the last auto save. The game forgets itself from time to time as it leaves the pointer in it's last settting (talk to free hero to hire or attack a gr

This game should have been named Elemental CRASH. Between the out of memory errors and other unexplained crashed, the game is more a teaser then a possibility. About the only way I seem to "play" is to keep reloading the autosave and going the few turns before the next crash. This is the second game I have bought via Impulse which is by Stardock. Both had great potential. However, both were obviously released WAY too early. It's quite obvious Stardock has
I have been running Demigod since release. It will periodically lock up and I have to use the Task Manager to kill the "Not Responding" task. It also hibernates for 30-60 seconds during multi as well as single user games. Multiuser LAN games never seem to work. They always fail part way through with the 2 players breaking out and each given an AI in place. My DxDiag: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time o
Managed to play my first multiplayer. Issues: 1) takes forever to get a match. 2) about 3/4 through the match, game froze up. about 30-60 secs later it continued playing.
Lol.. yes I have a legit copy. It's not worth the headache or other issues that potentially come with "pirated" software. I havent' noticed my hard drive thrashing at all. but..it's a pretty quiet system. What I see when it freezes is basically the current sound track finishes and then that's it. Only one time did I hear a problem where the sound is caught in a broken loop. I have a 454G drive (per Vista) with 312G free. I
just to add to it.. It's pretty much a stock .. simple Gateway GT5674. the only thing that was done was the upgraded Video card.
Single player freezes as well. I would not recommend buying the game until they have put out a patch or two and things start working.
sound is onboard Nothing else is running in the background. .. no virus.. no other programs.. Just normal system crud. Takes forever means.. I am sitting there for about a minute after I am done looking at the stats before it finally tosses me onto the next combat (if it does at all). Sometimes, it simply freezes/dies there. Task manager shows the program as "Not Responding". Thanks to Vista... I can always CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the Task manager
Strange..it doesn't show up under "My Posts". Nor was it searchable. Also doesn't show up under the listings.
I had posted that the game was freezing in single player mode. Was asked my configs. Posted what my system is and next I see.. the Post is removed? Not even a post directly to me as to why it would have been removed. Just gone. THAT IS LAME!!!!!!!! The game is sucking wind horribly. It freezes in single player tournament mode. Pretty much the title says it all. The game performs horribly. In single player mode, it takes forever to switch from the final statistics to the next game in a "tournament". That assumes it switches at all and doesn't simply freeze solid. During the tournament, it loves to freeze solid as well. Give me a patch or give me my $$ back. This is pretty much unplayable as stands.
It appears to me the Vasari is broken in a couple ways in regards to mining operations: 1) Setting up the ship to automatically lay mines fails to do that. Rather, it just moves back and forth without dropping mines despite having plenty of resource 2) When the Navigator approaches an enemy mine, the mine activates and attacks the ship. This is completely different behaviour for others where the scout ship approaches a mine and the mine lays dormant and able to be
