So long as there is a tangible difference between the factions I don't care that some of them aren't super short or pointy eared.
I side with KellenDunk on this issue. The initial concept is faction based, not racially based, so why complicate what has already been created. I'd even go so far as to suggest that good expansion material might be alternate races, and the numerous factions that might exist within them, but that at present the human/fallen templa

I found a great example of Strategic gameplay, was the Age of Wonders (AoW) tactical battle option in both AoW 1,2 and Shadow Magic. You were limited to 8 units per battle (of differring strengths and tiers) but tactics could very quickly decide of those choices were smart or not. Also relative placement on the map and reinforcements played a decent role in attacks and defenses. Terrain played a factor, as did city built defences during seiges. Another great exampl

I hadn't considered mines, but I also do not know the standard amount of health for a mine. I did observe that Regulus at a high level continued to fire at the same spot (and not in a shot ground kind of way) and when selecting alternative targets would auto select that spot again after the new target was destroyed. If these spots were mines then, as suggested, it would explain alot, but then why did the artiliary lizard not set it off, and why could I not kill them? These o

A minor software problem I've noticed is an inability to deselect a selected target hostile unit if I disengage combat to withdraw and go shopping. To better explain if I am fighting an enemy Rook but must flee, port to base and go to shop, the enemy rook's picture will be in the upper central portion of the screen in a box that cannot be moved or exited. It can be replaced by targetting another hostile unit but it cannot be disengaged or cleared away to the best of my knowle

My last three attempts to recreate the bug have failed. I think your suggestion that it is very rare is spot on. All attempts made with gauntlets of rokkur have been negative to recreate. As you suggest I also do not feel that it was equipment that caused the bug, but rather a series of events that may have occured while I was fighting in the centre of the map. Of course, if it happens again I will notify you and attempt to present more data.

It was the lizard artiliary, and only a specific single unit. I have yet to recreate the bug again. I'm sorry that I wasn't keeping track of what equipment I had on. I'll pick up the gauntlets of rokkur and see if I can recreate the bug.

Minor software bug noticed while playing Romulus in which asassin will occasional auto attack friendly units. No damage dealt (no friendly fire) but ties up character who continues to attack own unit instead of enimes. This friendly unit also seems to take priority over other units, as after prompting a new target, once a selected new target is killed Romulus auto targets original friendly unit. This bug also applied to the flag in the centre of map. Romulus would auto
