Hmm. Okay. I thought the Ultimate was completely up-to-date with what was installed from the DVD. However, I will use Impulse and see if I can get this done up properly. EDIT: Ah. Well I won't be using Impulse as it needs to be installed (see my original post) so I will just have to make do with this as is while I am traveling. Thanks,

Hi kyro, THanks for the assist. I have the new light and jewels now. But I am still struggling with getting the new ship sets into the game. I have tries putting the files in MyDocs/MyGames/Twilight (paraphrasing here) Ships, Shiptemplates and ShipStyles and they still don't show up in the designer. Any ideas?

Help installing mods in Ultimate Edition in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi all, I seem to have run into a bit of a brick wall here. I tried to install a mod for additional components and also for a ship set, just to see if I could get it to work. My first problem is in the game itself. In the options, I turned on use mod and then clicked to change the directory. I discovered that the default path in the game doesn't match the install paths for the ultimate edition, and also there appear to be no wa

Hi all, I just got the CG2 DA Gold boxed set and have been playing.
