Thanks SeaBass. I have been auto-hiding the task bar so I still have access - also through the Windows button. I am always concerned that when a program disappears, it leaves a footprint and locks up resources (usually memory). I probably hibernate 10:1 over rebooting as I move the laptop around from desk to car to desk to cafe so the possibilities of me draining resources slowly over time is a distinct possibility. Rebooting XP takes too much time. For the mom

I'm running XP Pro and I do use the screensaver/password on resume... I'm not alone! Now for the big question: does anyone know how to fix the problem?

I don't know... It *should* bring the computer back to the identical state it was in. ...I think...

Hi, I downloaded ObjectDock this past weekend. ...love the concept - very smooth. However (ahem?) ObjectDock disappears/shuts down when my VAIO laptop screensaver goes from "live screensaver" to screen power-down and when I hibernate. I can restart the application from the Start menu. I am running quite a lot of background tasks but they all worked fine prior. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Am I alone here? Thanks!
