disagree very strongly with number two. As I said in my thread about curb stomps, the mechanism to shorten games should not make it so the game is unplayable when you're significantly outmatched.
It's not meant to be unplayable. It's meant so that players don't camp in their base and spawn over, and over, and over, and over after dying over, and over and over, and just slowing the game down. I always play the game on mean respawn time because it's a

Edit: Edit function is broken...Lol Speaking of giants, they're ridiculously late game, and i'm referring WAY before that. Even before a team has catapultasaurus's available to them, when we're picking off towers and making a push for the citadel, just to be staved off each time. It takes at least ten-twenty more minutes for us to camp their base to make enough for all of said upgrades to finish it faster.
By the time you reach the citadel, you should be able to smash it within five minutes or so unless the other team wipes out your team.
Generally, when the other team gets fed off creeps, and our team is not level 20 in full artifacts to tank several towers, all of their creeps and their team not to feed a death, including how close the crystal is to run back to, we can't just smash the citadel without having to at the very least move behind our line of cr
Of course you win the game, but you win it way slower than you should. These ideas (if implemented) would dramatically speed up a player's loss to literally one gigantic wave wiping out their citadel. ;D
Rook to me just seems like an inefficient asassin.
While he's easily kitable, if you can move faster than the other team and aren't out-farmed like most of the situations these guys would suggest, then he's a living monster. He can kill you without a single swing, using his trebuchet, line of towers and poisoned arrows and follow you as far as past lines of towers just to have you die a slow, frustrating death. He then sucks a chunk of life back from a ne
How? I have several ideas already that can help to push a tilting game over-top itself when a dramatically better team is beating an unskilled team. The game should not be rewarding ineptitude, nor should any game. So, I'll list some of my ideas that I've already spammed in other threads, and solidify them here in an end-all thread for my ranting: 1) Remove building regeneration. Buildings regenerating back to half, or full after each wave complet
I think the best way would be to remove the regeneration of buildings, which would half the length of matches. Early on, you can push a tower several times, but it slowly regens, so you only chip away at it. You can get to the late game and make several gigantic pushes at the citadel, and in between each rush it regenerates a fourth of it's HP. It's literally just a waste of time. One huge sweep against the citadel should literally be a game clincher. Also, the respawn
...I think I lol'ed. While we're at it, can we have five new gamemodes? Can we also have customizable clothes? Can we have it in a month? Your suggesting they add an expansion to the game sir. Like they really had no intentions to do all of this. Before any new demigods, they need to fix multiplayer. 3v3+ games take hours to finish because of the massive lag, which ultimately finishes the game with a net split, ruining any game.
I don't think ramping up respawn times will help. If anything it'll just make it worse for the newer player. You still have the issue of not being able to successfully attack towers unless you reach a certain minimum level. The mechanic used to address this really needs to be such that if you're unwinnably behind, you die really fast and don't have your towers dragging out a game that's already over. Towers are what's causing this imo and they need to be address
1. Games with no password will require a password. Is sometimes fixed by either re-hosting or both players restarting their clients. 2. Failed to join game. Don't know cause, but do know that when many players are trying to get into a game, it will fail to join. 3. People will join games but won't be connected to another player, and can't start the game. Is fixed by rejoining. 4. Random connection splits.
Was commenting at the other people saying that he needs a buff close-range. Otherwise, this idea might be too harsh of a nerf. He's so extremely squishy, and all he can do is run and kite, which completely eliminates his damage. I don't think any regulus can stand and turret fire unless they're significantly stronger than the melee character hitting them.
He doesn't need a melee attack. First of all, he's not a melee character. He's a squishy nuker. You need a melee teammate to compensate for his squishyness. You compensate for this by never letting your opponent get within range to be a threat, i.e. don't be stupid and turret fire. Get +speed items and use him the way he's supposed to be played. Also, he has two MELEE ranged attacks. 1) Mines 2) Ultimate Angel form.
<
they are just going to steamroll your base. Sure it makes things quicker, so you don't have waste your precious expert time, but what about the new people trying to learn the game
They should play someone their level. If they're losing and clearly about to lose due to a tremendous gap in skill and play, they DESERVE to lose to a superior team. There shouldn't BE second ch chances. This is such a useless argument.
Maybe instead show health bars of Demigods currently under attack/under attack in the past ~10 seconds or so? The only times you care to see health bars is when they are in battle.

What would that help, though? If you're in the same place as your ally for healing purposes (Sedna) or protection (Oak), you can see that they're getting pummeled and with 1) above you'd be able to see their hp right there. Having portraits on the screen at all times wou
Noticed a lot of good ideas. I'll start a thread here which includes my own ideas along with a multitude of others I agree with, and try to summarize everything (that I think, in my own opinion) can help to do nothing but improve Demigod. Just got done playing with a friend for 8+ hours to find I have work in an hour. Let's get down to it. :F Oh, a lot of these are dota-inspired, so incoming... I can't stress enough on how little I have been playing this game. So if I'm
It's a good thing I don't have a lethal combination of ADD/Dyslexia to read a few paragraphs... He's 110% right. Spent thirty minutes in a game trying to finish off two players who obviously didn't know the game. One of them was a Vampire Lord, and the other was an Unclean beast. My partner and I were Regulus and Oak. 90% of the game was spent outside their citadel killing their towers or trying to backdoor their portal, just to have the vampire lord come in and drop hi
