QQ POST
MONEY is a huge problem in this game. If you manage to get a few early kills you get a HUGE buff and advantage over the other team. In fact if you got a few early kills you are probably slightly better or have a better hero (hero combo) than the other team...
Heres the thing: Don't die. If you can

That makes it impossible for nuke classes to take kills when their damage comes in bursts, usually the finishing blows. Just buff assist points. Play a different demigod if you want to see godlikes, otherwise be content you won.

Eh, I don't think it should REQUIRE you to be in a clan to play in a pre-arranged pantheon, although I never thought of the idea of a clan earning favor points rather than just a team. I like that idea actually, although it would only warrant clans to recruit as much people as possible. But regardless, I think even if it doesn't force you to play with a clan or base favor around the clan, a-lot of the top competitors will very likely be in clans.
WHATS THE USE OF PLAYING FOR GOOD OR EVIL IF YOU DONT COMMIT TO A SIDE????
This isn't about the old pantheon, this is in regards to the new upcoming team pantheon that IS going to be implemented soon, but this idea more or less regards to removing any restrictions (if any, at that). Less caps lock and question marks, please.
I'm sure he reason you want to not commit is because you wanna be able to switch to the latest uber sp

Okay, I've decided to remake the topic, as the previous one was a mixture of rantings/conveyed thoughts, a long with a misdirective suggestion. So, the new team pantheon is apparently under going construction, and to be released soon (or so ive heard and assume as i present my arguments). While the current pantheon stresses on the single player, it is able to allow demigods restricted to one side. The team pantheon however, should NOT have demigods restricted to either
the whole point to the pantheon is so that everyone is split up and battle it out for your team
Why do they need to put completely different demigods on different sides though? It's not like theres some gigantic prize for stacking a team. A lot of people (such as myself) will be joining the losing side anyways to even it out, or try to carry a team past the other. I think when the MP problems are fixed, and assuming the issues I brought up are fixed, the

There will most likely, and inevitably be a stealth type assassin demigod to come. Theres items to reveal invisible units, they already have it laid out. Besides, what RTS/RPG WOULDN'T have some sort of stealth character? Would probably be more productive suggesting skills for said character, whenever it's released. Obviously, some nice skills it could have: Backstab, Slow, Poison, Invisibility, Passive Dodge, Passive Critical, Etc...
Is waiting a week for the pantheon to change so bad?
It's pretty stupid, actually, but that isn't what this topic is mainly about, and is some what irrelevent to the main point.
This idea is not good, in fact, it is a bad idea and doesn't address what you really want
You fail to explain.
I suggest you go back to dota -apem
I prefer RD/
2. Balance things in such a way that the slippery slope can be avoided, so that teams can still have a chance at victory, even after things have gone south.
Why? The reason why this 'slope' happens is because of a losing team's incompetence. It's an RTS remember, and it's all about how well you can micro-manage and strategize. if you're defeated early on, then defeated middle game, you're going to lose. I would argue the exact opposite. Make it so when so
I've never seen someone I'm fighting have a chance to fire off HoL. I've never had an opportunity to use the thing properly while getting attacked. For 4.25k gold, I'd say it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
I'll fraps myself and send it to you.

Incoming wall of text...i.e. 20 minutes of my life gone. If you don't care for my counter argument, scroll down until you see red...gg. Let me explain. Straight up, light side holds all of the defensive characters, and dark side holds the high end damage classes, give or take a regulus and a QoT. Theres one flaw in team play, because now you can't mix a really defensive character like oak with a balls to the wall behemoth like UC. If I wer

I haven't really played any better players yet, I think I've only lost once. Then again, I've never stepped into the pantheon because I didn't realize you couldn't switch forces. I also don't trust having a record thats maintained by random pugs that can F games. Oh well, hopefully they'll implement the new pantheon soon.
I disagree with this idea. I like the fact that restrictions exist for Pantheon. If you want unrestricted matches you can always play a custom game.
I'm sorry, I didn't know custom games had a ladder to compete on. Use common sense; oh wait you have none. Justify restrictions for pantheon, please.
I actually agree with psymed, oak is not dead until he is dead dead, so you should not get xp for killing him until he's actually gone... Last Stand seems like its designed to allow oak to get a kill on you before he dies... if you let him do this, then I don't think you should be rewarded for this
Okay. Last stand. Oak runs really fast, and hits really hard. Tends to kill a lot of people. When he falls regardless because he's already dead, the player get

If they'd implement an option to show constant healthbars over all demigods that can be hovered over with target priority over anything else that is infront of it, problem would be solved. /thread
Perhaps if one team is dominating well and good for X amount of time, they can call a match wide vote to declare victory (or vice versa, the team being dominated can issue a surrender). If enough people vote, the match ends and is recorded. If there is not enough votes, the game keeps going. If it's obviously a lopsided match, most people will probably be happy just to get it over with in good faith, I imagine
That's stupid. You shouldn't have to work aro
Might as well play a one-man slaughter game.
The game is balanced, and both sides have complete potential to play to the maximum capabilities that the restrictions of the game allows. They both have access to everything, including everything I suggested. Its their performance that ultimately defines the game pace however, except Demigod doesn't reflect this...
1) i disagree with completly, most good players can take a tower down in one hit.
Really? How does being a 'good' player allow them to take a tower down in one hit? I haven't seen one attack yet that can hit for 7,000 damage. They can take them down very fast in the end-game, but not fast enough to warrant a one-hit. And this is, very late game at level 20 with a few artifacts, mind you.
exponential death penalties.... NO NO
Other ideas: An (expensive) one shot item that disables the enemy healing crystal for a short period or better yet, one that flips "control" of it to the other side for 10 seconds.
I think that would make a decent, temporary solution, in my opinion just moving the crystal farther away (for certain maps;) would be an end all solution. Not to say that this game needs to copy dota, but dota puts the well out of range of the throne/tree for a rea
