So ... I have purchased a lot of Stardock titles on Steam. Like Sorcerer King, Gal Civ 3, all the other elemental games etc. I can't figure out where to get my steam product key so that I can enter Sorcerer King into the "product list" so that you can stop sending me nice reminders that I should have waited for the 25% off or whatever instead of paying full price. I would appreciate assistance in helping you understand what

I am a bit confused by the number of games listed on the metarealm table next to a score. Does that mean that is the number of games a player has: completed, started, or used to reach the total listed? It kinda makes a difference. Thanks

Stardock pours their hearts into their games - especially the elemental series. I have seen a few bugs in my current playthrough - mostly graphical glitches and display issues. (Like the game not showing me fertile ground all the time or shards not displaying after the town they were linked to was rudely destroyed by a harbinger until I built new outposts to claim them.) These are not game breaking and frankly, the game runs MUCH better than any creative a

Military Starbases are of questionable value. Giving 3 worlds morale, science, cash, and production boosts all at once is sexy. My escort ships are generally tougher than a starbase and can solo them with a stack of defenders vs. the AI (human vs. human they may have value - especially if you can drop them offensively and protect them for a turn while they build modules.) Given the available extremes in ship design, if Military Starbases are supposed to reduce mov

I am so confused. I thought the following (which is apparently incorrect): The adjacency bonus was/is +1 to the base number. The base buildings could only apply their percentage to their "base" number. The 1 per colony buildings applied their percentages to all of the buildings on the planet. The 1 per colony building also applied their +x adjacency bonus to the base numbers of the adjacent buildings. <p

Planets have a base number for Production, Research, and Credits. What determines/impacts that base number? (16 quality planet, 10 science buildings and my research capitol later I am pumping out 20 research... because the base number is between 1 and 2 - I've done something horribly wrong.. and I have no idea why that base number is next to nothing.) What research do you get to upgrade/improve your ship options? It doesn&#

Having flipped from losing games to destroying the AI in the last few days, I can say that two things seem critical. Early combat success and planning growth around capitalizing on racial/nation abilities. Weak default Sovereigns make the game a LOT harder for the player learning the game because they obscure the good strategies and make the start harder against monsters. When the sovereigns are not alligned with the nation, it seems&

Even after logging 100's hours in War of Magic, I've been unable to come close to beating a game of Fallen Enchantress on Normal. My out of the gate strategy seems to be keeping pace with the AI, but after about turn 30-50, it just becomes a question of time before the AI wins. Strategy resources/discussions for this game have been difficult to locate. To that end, I am listing a bunch of strategy questions below. What&#3

Champions/Soveriegn at full hit points. Start a fight with a target on the Strategic map. Sovereign and/or champion do not load into fight. End of battle has Soveriegn or Champion at zero HP. No damage in detail log. Champions get disadvantages for falling in battle. This is occuring in third Scenario. &nbs

Fallen Enchantress is presenting me an Auto Login option. I am confused. What am I logging into? Why do I need to log into something for a single player game? Why is logging into something required for achievements/stat tracking in a single player game? If there are achievements, why does Steam not list them? Most importantly, why is Stardock int

Diablo 3 was designed as pay to win game. .. Even if they haven't implemented the cash auction house yet - so people cannot yet pay to win. And... it has a user metacritic score of 4.0 as a result despite the excellent production quality. The gear/leveling experience is designed to FORCE you to pay cash to gear/level - and it ruins the game. The business problem that Blizzard is/was trying to address: "How do you afford servers for 10 years off of

Steam is an excellent middleman application between publishers and gamers - and how it performs for gamers is impacted on a case by case basis by publisher demands. It takes an exceptional game -like Elemental: War of Magic -for me to consider stepping off of Steam to acquire a game these days. (Despite the balance challenges, Elemental was awesome.) It's possible that a publisher's requirements will force me to avoid purchasing their games even if they ar
