First you have know idea what you are talking about when it comes to finishing a basement. I have over 30 years remodeling houses and finishing the basement the way you describe will only cause allot of problems. You are sealing the moisture in your foundation, this will in time cause it to deteriorate and crumble. Yes Desarmor is a great product. Your basement will have moisture in it and then your studs will rot.
