Hi, I have a steam version. When designing troops autoupgradable weapons disappear - unit has no weapon in hand and 0 attack. Auto option gives information that there is no compatibile weapon. The custom unit is hidden in the training tab until enchanted weapons are researched. It does not apply to all races (Ironeers work normally, but Resoln or Warlord Verga are bugged). Blunt weapons seems to work normally. I noticed that it affects one-handed cuttin

I'll try to summarise all of the questions and doubts: I'm playing TA (unmodified Steam Ultimate version) I have switched both events and mega events OFF All my opponent are at Normal difficulty. The Terrans have Star Federation government (My Drengin are Imperials) Income I had given comes from planetary wiev (the number above spending and maintenence) I have no idea if it works but here you can find my screenshots of another planet (the one

Wel I would really like to understand the reason for such difference in Income. Terran planet / Drengin (My) Planet: Class: 16/16 Food: 14/14 Planet Economy Bonus: 60%/75% Planet Morale: 97%/93% Race Economy Ability: 118%/111% Race Morale Ability: 103%/131% Income: 390/117 We both have the same tax rate: 65% - confirmed as we have the same -% planet approval from tax I play with Events switched off, Terran p
I cannot confirm that, but I think the Builder of a Trade Good is considered the "first buyer" and the building itself gives nothing more than the right to sell it.
Ah, sorry. Small mistake. Eyes of the Universe is a Galactic Achievement - not a Trade Good. But it is not so valuable for AI, so there is no rush - I still try to get it pretty soon (it gives a nice kick for Scouts and Starbases)
If you do not manage to be the first to build a vital Trade Good (Xeno Hull Plating, Eyes of the Universe, Harmony Crystals etc.), do not worry, You can still buy it from the race who is the owner.I sometimes do not want to waste a tile on one of my planets for some of them - Nano Recorders for example. I prefer to buy them.
Because Ascension and Technological victories are too abstract and unlogical for me, they also shorten the game. I also switched off: surrenders (It gives too big advantage for high influence races - In one of my games Thalans made 5 other AIs surrender without starting wars with them), tech trading and tech stealing (It prevents me from powergaming and keeps the races di
Not a bug. You got the Telenanth Mega Event. It increases all of the chosen AI's abilities by a small percentage each and every turn (something like 3% or 5%). (There's also a non-mega version, which only increases one ability each turn-or maybe the bonus was smaller; I've forgotten, sorry.)
Oh! Thank you for the information. I now remember that there was an event like this (... we must stop them or t
I started my experience with Galactic Civilizations II from Steam Ultimate version and I cannot complain. I have not noticed the flaws mentioned above. I just thought I was a noob. Ai started to invade me with fleets of around 500 attack and maximum logistics. My Drengins counter
I personally like Drengin the most. I invest my points to maximize their abilities (rapair, hp, sildiering, weapons) and I choose War party. They are supposed to be evil and it matches with my game
