Argh! I have fond where to change the menu background colour, but I need to change the menu item colours now. The author of the skin would appear to have used the same colour for many items on the skin, so changing the colour is easy, but has unintended consequences. I think I'll have to give up for a while until I have more time to explore and experiment. Thanks for your help, it's appreciated.

I have been poking around in SkinStudio 10 on a copy of a skin. Would some kind soul please explain where to find the customisations for the Win+X menu? I would like to change the background colour of the menu, but either I'm blind or the customisations are really well buried.

I have just installed WindowBlinds 10.4.5 Beta and it seems to have fixed the slow filling problem. Well done! Edit: In fact performance generally seems better, more responsive.

Neil, I reinstalled WindowBlinds only and re-booted. I selected Lantana and applied it. The poor response from Start10 was back. I went back to the Default theme and deleted the .WB4 files from Lantana. I reselected Lantana and applied it. Again the problem with Start10 was there. I am not aware of any other problems I could be having. I accept that as no-one else is having this problem, it must be something I have done to my system. I am going to pull WindowBlinds aga

I am running Windows 10 x64 Pro 1607 build 14393.51, with WindowBlinds 10.07, Start10 1.11 and WindowFX 6.02. Certain applications start and the outer frame displays, but the frame is not filled for about 5 - 7 seconds. This is most noticeable with the configuration applications for Start10 and WindowFX. As I have not seen any other reports of this I assume I have done something I shouldn't have. Can you tell what I should do to get back to a reasonable display time? Edit:

I have tried both skins suggested by DaveBax above, his own Flexability and LightStar's Reddish. With both of them I selected Windows 10 substyles. Both skins exhibit the same behaviour. I am beginning to suspect that a program that runs at boot-time, i.e. at start-up, might be the cause. I am going to try disabling them in sequence to see if that corrects the problem.

Using the Start10 start menus works well. They display as they should. The only skins I have tried using are the ones supplied with WindowBlinds10. While I haven't tried all of them, all of the ones I did try exhibited the same behaviour.

I have discovered that if I go into Start10 configuration and select a non-WindowBlinds start menu, and then switch back to the WindowBlinds start menu, the right-hand panel is restored to its full size. Now to see if this is retained across a restart. Edit: No, the corrected panel width is not retained across a restart. But going into Start10 configuration does set the width back to the full size, so it's a viable workaround but a PITA.

I reported the problem as a missing download button. I never said I couldn't download the initial release of WindowBlinds10. I was more concerned with future releases. There is no conflict. Thank you for fixing the missing button problem, that was all I wanted.
