1- I would like to have my Pioneers to be able to build roads. It would increase their usefulness. 2- I want to play a Necromancer and have undead risen minions as in Fallen Enchantress. 3- I would like to have more tactical combat. Ex: flanking bonus, archers on a hill could do increased damage, spearmen could do more damage to cavalry... Thank you!!!
Any mods which gives more available skills when designing new units? Patchwork mod has it but it hasn't been updated in a while...

The order of installation may be the following: install Patchwork mod; install original mods that you need; install compatibility patches. There are versions of Champion Bonanza and Black Market Bazaar mods that already compatible with Patchwork and Children of Strom mods. They don't require compatibility patches. I will ask Webusver for a dropbox of his files.
