First i want to Nay on the sug above to remove wallpapers. I come here to find wallpapers from time to time, and always find something to like. . Also, i would want to add my voice to the call for a trillian section. Perhaps having it here would add more to its SKIN reputation and draw more skinners to skin it too.

Personally, i dont think its worth the hassle for 3 seconds of pretty picture... BUT ... from what i hear, if the screens are simply bmps matching certain criteria of size and color depth than i see a happy solution in some of the posts above... Make a subsection of the Wallpapers section (or its own section), with one of those checkboxes on the page top for "Boot Images" which should meet the necessary criteria. This way, the users get what they are looking for <img src="ht

I go with Madam Snowman there.... my sys is on 24/7 anyway too, 'cept during installs, & then they go by in a matter of a second or two. I don't personally see any real reason to skin something i see maybe 3 or 4 seconds total in a month. I still want to see some high-quality skins for Trillian...they have a few good ones at home, but im sure we could see some amazing stuff from the artistic geniuses posting here. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/hot.gif" border=0 ALIGN="

The WB4-instead argument wouldn't work ... unless they already have it ready to go. The expiry removal will be a quick and easy fix (or should be), where as the WB4 upwork is not nearly so. So ill be waiting in anticip for the 3.5 fix for now until the WB4 bit. Do need SOMEthing to tide us over.

i agree that while windows is a well-grounded product, (and even starting to really polish up after all these years), the new policies and way MS is going with licensing and pricing, and their approach to the public will be the cause of their downfall if ever there is one. Even someone like MS can only expect to kick their customers around like a football for so long.

I know this may seems two small things, but theyve always seemed SO out of place to me not skinned, especially as more and more other elements get skinned.... - The edges of textboxes similar to comboboxes - Combobox scrollbars (i know theyve been trouble, optional?) And one last pipe dream, any hope of the repositionable scroll bar arrows, to mimic Mac and Solaris and some other *nix shells?? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a

you can still move the window... select it... then Alt+Space followed by . this gets it into move mode. BTW, the Recent Programs section still wont work. It works fine, till i log off, then when i log back on, its lost any changes made in the last logon session. Very good though otherwise. Cheerz!

Why this should be such an issue, i have no idea. During the install of Kazaa, it clearly shows in the customized setup section the presence of the New.net stuff, and you can quite simply uncheck it. People need to stop moaning over two or three mouse-clicks. Sheesh!

It would be really nice if there were a differentiation between the imaged wallpapers, like get posted now, and simple tiling pictures. The tiling ones are often very nice too, and dont drag the machine as badly as a full-screen image.
