open up console type AI the computer will now play as you.....save the game and reload it ....go back into console type AI again to regain control and resume game as normal

BUG REPORT so far I have found couple of things.... 1: sound will stop working after a hour. 2: not a bug but space stations don't do much of anything even when stacked with several ships so as soon as my space station goes down so does my 8 ships that I have stationed there. 3: sometimes when engaging in battle with a fleet of 3 only one would be placed in battle I have to cancel the attack and re attack for the other ships to show up..same thin

i just got this game I think yesterday and I put in about 22 hours I really like the game so far it only crashed on me twice I did find out that It uses a lot of memory about 4-5 gb out of the 8 that I have I think the crashes Is due to high use of memory as soon as it hits the fullest amount of memory that you have it crashes or I could be wrong...also after a hour of gameplay the sound would stop...also hoping to see more graphic setting so think people who do have less powerful
