Awesome, nice list of great changes already. Looking forward to 77a. Game is in really good shape imho. I have GalCiv2 vibes again, while GalCiv3 never really caught on with me. With the final expansions I kinda enjoyed it but this one is already better imho.

Thanks Rhonin, it works now. Not incredibly intuitive though as I selected a planet and went to create a commonwealth from the colony screen, so I assumed that it would automatically include that planet in the commonwealth. But then I DO have to select it again from the list. So it works, but it could be more intuitive.

I got to play my first 50 turns yesterday as The Slyne in a Large galaxy with 7 normal opponents. Boy what an enjoyment! Almost all of my GalCiv III vanilla pet peeves are gone.
