Hi, quick question. I have ObjectDock Plus, and by default, adding icons to tabs adds just the icon... just for fun I fiddle around with viewing them in different ways (right click > view > Names / Small Icons / Large Icons). Well, when I viewed as "Names," all of the icons had text below them showing the the name of the shortcut. The problem is, I now cannot make that go away. The text is always there now, even when I switch to different view modes. Is there an easy way to reset this s

Wow, thanks for the helpful advice, everyone -- I really appreciate it. Yeah, the farms were a mistake -- I got them because I wanted to increase my population caps, not remembering that it would send my economy into a tailspin. By the time I remembered to turn off my social spending, it was too late. Bad call on my part! I'm going to try to sue for peace, although I doubt I'll be able to, the Drengin have far superior weapons to mine -- I've seen them in the espionage tab. I'l

So I thought I had a technology victory pretty sewn up... I was all the way to Near Omniscience, which meant only two more stops on the tech tree before sweet victory. The Drengin and the Arceans seemed pretty content to lie back and do their thing, and my military was clearly superior, so I wasn't too worried. Then it all turned on a dime. Call me crazy, but I don't understand why this is an issue, with the invasion options you get when you invade a planet. Mass drivers, tidal disruption, etc. -- this accomplishes precisely what some posters in this thread are asking for; it gives you a significant advantage in combat, destroys enemy improvements... So what's the problem? Is it really necessary to have a little animation showing some bombs dropping or something? With high soldiering and some mass drivers or tidal disrupt
