MyViewsAndMuse
Ya know, I have noticed frequently in the past that the "douchebag" article was always in the top of Google searches but ignored although was curious why it was ranked high and simply figured people kept linking to it. As for why I would be googling "Brad Wardell" frequently, well don't judge me (ie fanboy, etc) but every once in awhile I do it to see if I missed any articles, interviews etc that I might have missed.

If I buy fences will I be able to install it on more than one computer that I own/use? I suspect the answer is I have to buy a copy for each computer but thought i would ask. thanks
Got mine today, it was nice but a little short on specific content. I did enjoy the editorial, as for the poke question, I recalled that it was related to C64 but honestly I had to google to know specifically after which I remembered it. I loved my C64 and I learned how to program with it. First with Basic and then asm initially converting instructions to pokes but quickly learning to use the Merlin compiler with the C64 tech reference always nearby. Good times...
Hey friends. [e digicons]:)[/e] I just spoke to Brad and we're looking to get the beta out to active Founders this month sometime. I can't promise an exact date yet as we're working on getting some things done in the build.
yes thank you!
Yes, great sounding stuff! I cannot wait to try it out!
long time galciv fan. After reading this I am not angry at all. I would say intrigued. Not sure I fully understand it all but it sounds interesting to be sure!
back stories are always fun. Thanks
I like what I see. Very excited.
Love the story and the game. But cannot believe this question has not been asked yet. When will get to enjoy this mythical 2.0 version? thanks UPDATE: I realized that 2.0 is out in beta, my bad.
i would like an option to simply turn off the bazaar and keep the rest of the DLC. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I agree, a game option to set the appearance of bazaars to either on/off would be nice. I have the DLC as a result of founder program but I do not install that particular DLC as I do not like how it disrupts the game for me.
So if I wanted to try one of those huge maps where could I find something like a race pack that has dozens of different races I could add to the game for the opponents? Or do I have to load them one at a time? thanks
I do not have any mods. I have already submitted a ticket yesterday.
Yes, since the last update that happened to 1.90 I can no longer load a saved game or even start a new one. It crashes once the galaxy starts spinning. It was working earlier in the week (earlier versions of 1.90). I have already submitted a trouble ticket ZUH-507-61622
tried to load a saved game this afternoon (after steam updated game again) and when I choose a game to load it starts the spinning galaxy then it CTD
I just fired up GalCiv3 for some lunch time play (version 1.90 game I started) and steam updated the game although the version number has not changed. Anyone experience this? Thanks
Thanks FrogBoy (Brad) for 1.9, I look forward to starting one up today. I am not a heavy player but have been a long time fan of the series and Stardock in general. Being a founder for GalCiv3 I was happy but was somewhat bummed by the some of the features we had in GalCiv2 but lost. Having said that, I knew the game would continue to improve for years to come and the DLC you talk about proves the point. My decision to do the founders was based a lot on the value I get
Not the first time I have seen it said that tech brokering should be turned off. Why is that? I never get anything major out of them. I must be doing something wrong. As a side note, I never play with Mercs turned on, I find that the enemy gets a hold of one and beats the hell out of me meanwhile I cannot get anything good to counter it. I suspect I am doing something wrong in my play style as I suspect many people love that DLC. Anyway, great pos
First, so happy Brad has taken this over. I recall being bummed when early on we learned that he was not involved with the design and development of GalCiv3. Not that it isnt a good game now but his absence showed in the final product both in features and performance. Second, forgive my ignorance but where does one find a 8 core computer? Specifically, in a gaming laptop? I thought I was doing good with a quad core Razer Blade.
Ya know, I have never played a game that big (that many civs). Mostly because I am unsure the best way to get that many without a ton of duplication.
I am extremely excited about this. I have been waiting for Brad to personally get involved with GalCiv3. I am not saying that previously anyone did something wrong, rather that with Brad back more of what is right will be done (in my opinion). Brad historically has always focused on AI, particularly in the GalCiv series. I remember that with GalCiv2 one of the bragging points was that the AI did not cheat or have special bonuses until something like the two top
I recently bought this game (Rivals) and have not played the original. I am completely lost. Does anyone know a good tutorial to get me on the way? thanks
