Awesome, another update. You guys rock! I don't know how many games I've played the past 20 or so years that didn't have 5 updates the whole product life, never mind in just several months. This is why I plunk down the dineros for your products (also doesn't hurt that they're fun to play!). Reeaalllyyy looking forward to seeing what 1.1 has.
I would love to be able to listen to the music as well. Seems if I bought it retail that wouldn't matter too much. Stardock is always great about taking care of gamers. If you bought it legitimate, it doesn't matter if you have a box or not. They allow you to download the full game if you are like me and occasionally have one of the kids lose track of where they put a game or it's media (just love that).
I play on normal right now and I sell every tech I get. I research some of the main ones to give me new ships but I also research all the smaller ones too. I then sell them to any AI with at least 100bc in it's treasury. I try to get 100 bc for as many turns as I can, even if it is only 4 or 5 (like it when I can get 20 or 30 :-) ). Could you add some way to see what stat modifiers are being used for your civ (Galactic Wonders, Trade Goods, Discoveries). It would also be nice to right click a trade item in the Negotiation screen and see a summary of what it does or what it modifies or allows to be researched. Also it would be really nice to know how much each civ is trading with you per turn. (Not just a lump sum figure under the Domestic policy screen.) Knowing what percentage of their trade is with you doesn't help much.
For those of you who would like a printed copy of the tech tree here is how I made myself one. (You do need a printer for those of you who are not "the sharpest sticks in the woods".)
