keyboard won't wake from screensaver in DeskScapes Stardock Forums

When the deskscapes screensaver is on (even in Preview), i can only turn it off with a mouse event. No key on the keyboard will turn off the screensaver. I tried the same test with the Windows 10 screensavers and they all exit with a keypress event. Any idea? I don't see any related config setting and i've already tried swapping the keyboard to a different USB port.
