I was mainly saying it is Win11 that is ugly.... Win10 isn't as bad as you can still customize it somewhat with third party software.... unlike Win11 which is just awful.

Win11 looks like shit especially when you go Dark Mode and find literally every application window built using winforms from the top to bottom is literally White.. those fking retards at MS. Especially when they go ahead and break the work of developers behind Curtains etc and any other ux theme patching efforts

Because a Windows 10 update bricked the pc, which happened a week ago so I just went full wipe and put Win11 on... I mean its not like MS is going to make there useless updates less shit for either OS at this point... though the lack of decent theming is giving me reason to go back.

Trying to get less padding space waste between each taskbar buttons... from what I can tell in curtains you can only do so much with adjusting the margins on the image button being used... there is no way to change the actual button spacing/padding distance between buttons... though I know it has possible just doesn't seem to be exposed in curtains.. is that right?

no the opposite I don't want it further apart.. I want less wasted space especially on the taskbar.. win10 is awful at spacing things out and wasting ui space everywhere.. So its not possible? I'm sure it is possible did something similar back in Win7 with Visual Style Builder

So I had object desktop, reformatted PC yesterday, and now all the programs on it are only Try, like I don't own them even the old versions when I had paid for Object desktop for all all of them. Now I only used Fences and Curtains... but if I buy Curtains separately.. is that just going to expire in a year? if so I won't bother as I can live with it. Curtains is much better, more consistent in styling things, Windowblinds can be a mess for decent win10 themes... The themes in Curtains are pretty good, it's a shame that Windows itself now is such bad cluster fk of awful design, and difficult to theme properly due to it being such an ugly looking awful mess on the surface suggests the underlying code for it all must be eye sore.

i hadn't noticed that :) .. but is there not a way to get that functionality with just holding a hotkey down instead(or a button toggle), ie as if the mouse was over that area... but the hotkey method could lock the currently displayed card, so you were free to move your mouse around, do few other things while still been kept upto date on things with the infocard. think there are so many areas this game could do with UI improvements.. hope the modding community picks it up that or the D

Is there a way to get the infocard to always display... like sometimes tracking units by mouse from a distance just to look at the infocard is a bit annoying as they are moving away from the pointer. Seems the infocard only displays on mouseover, would be nice if there were some more options to allow one to keep the card up for longer maybe if I had selected a structure/ship/planet the infocard could stay displayed with those stats until I click on something differ

I wouldn't worry about it much VishalGuptaMVP.. I only brought it up because I don't think much of the way this competition has been setup so far and the rules on such things like "Artwork used in skin must be your own." are just very vague. Your skin was just way for me to point it out.. as to me some of the graphics are familar looking, seems like the mods are going to be lax on it and let it slide..at least I now know where things stand on this issue.
