1st time installing question in DesktopX Stardock Forums

Hi, I own the full ODT and I installed most of it and then when I installed DesktopX it never asked me to activate it. It seems top be working OK. Is there a problem? Is this normal? Thanks! Joe

Wierd Startup issue in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Hi, I have been running Windowblinds 73047 for a few months flawlessly. All of a sudden it will not start with windows. The service starts and is running fine but it will not load until I run the EXE and apply a theme. Then I am only good until I reboot. I don't "think" I did anything to compromise the installation and I ran a virus scan and everything is clean. Any ideas or should I try uninstalling and reinstalling? Thanks all!! Joe

Cursor FX and possible corrupt theme. in CursorFX Stardock Forums

HI, I bought Cursor FX Plus and it runs fine with the preinstalled themes, however, when I copy over some of the themes I used to use with the free version one or more of the themes must be corrupt because it causes Cursor FX to lock up hard. I have to end the task to shut the theme picker down. Is there an easier way to check the themes to see if they are corrupt rather than trying each one individually? As I said it works fine with the preinstal

NM, just read the comparison on the StarDock site. the Plus version just has extra stuff that annoys me anyway, although there is no reference to sounds, I thought with the Plus version you could add sounds to clicks etc...?

[/quote] hehe, actualy the free one suites me fine AND I think IconPackager supports cursors. Read that somewhere in the specs. What exactly is the difference in the free CursorFX or the Plus?

[RESOLVED] Latest revision of WB 7 Does not load all the time with Windows in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

HI, I am running the latest release of WindowBlinds: WindowBlinds 7 [v7.30.047] (65.0 MB) (About WB says v.7.3 Build 310) and just once in a while and it is very random when I boot up WindowBlinds does not load. The service is running and if I click on the WB icon and run it manually then apply a theme it works fine. Then it will load OK for several reboots thereafter and again once in a while it will not load. All I have loading at boot up is the drivers for my Microsoft Mous

Disabling Norton makes no sense. It IS Norton Identity Safe I am trying to get to pass on my username and password to the site for logon. Disabling it would defeat the whole purpose of what I am trying to do. I tried all the suggestions I got off the Norton Community site and then I finally uninstalled/ran the Norton Zapper and reinstalled The whole 360. I still cannot get it to acknowledge that one page, the main forum page here at Stardock. Since it is just this one page I a

Yeah, I have a 4-5 page forum post going on over at the Norton Communities site. Tried everything except for un / reinstalling all of 360. Have not opened a formal ticket yet as I feel weird as it's only this one site. Actually not even the site just the forum logon page itself. Looked everywhere for cookie rejection and it looks like I am accepting all cookies. Are there any test sites to see if I am accepting cookies or not?

No, luck. There really is no "white list" but the site comes up as trusted already. This is the ONLY page out of ever (hundreds) of pages I use Identity Safe with that will not work. Identity Safe just ignores it. Any other ideas? ADDENDUM:

Task Bar sliding down? in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Has anyone else gotten this problem. I currently use the random theme setting but it was happening when I had a single theme running all the time. From time to time the taskbar would slide down about half way for about 3 or 4 seconds then go back to normal. Also once in a GREAT while it looks like the whole screen drops a little bit, maybe a quarter inch then go right back to normal. Only happens when WB is loaded. Anyone else?
