out of curiosity, and I do mean pure curiosity ... Would there be any chance for those of us have a subscription to OD, and a subscription to WC, and have participated in the site, forums, IRC channel at times ... and own a Dell, have a chance to get their grubby mitts on this wonderful piece of ingenuity? :D I'm only asking of course! ;)

Well, after disabling as many pop-up blockers (IE7/6, and FF) as I could find on my primary system, and rebooting to ensure everything was off, I'm still getting the beep and am unable to access multiplicity... Any further thoughts? And Seabass, the vista is on the secondary and isn't giving me any problems at all! Nice thought though! Cheers all! R

Desktop: (Primary) Windows XP Pro SP2 [HP xw4300 Workstation] Laptop: (Secondary) Vista Business OEM [Dell XPS M1210] Was trying out multiplicity and loving it! When I disconnected my secondary (laptop) from the network to take home, was offered no warning nor information telling me I needed to make any special modifications to either primary or secondary. So off I went! Came back the next day (Friday) and had left the primary running. Rebooted for Nero install reuqirements

Was trying out MP and loving it the first day! When I disconnected my laptop (secondary) from the network to take home, no warning or information telling me I needed to do anything special on either the Primary or Secondary was offered. Came back the next day while the primary has been running all night, and there was no tray icon for MP on the primary. When I restarted the system, I would hear a beep but still no icon, then I tried to start MP manually and heard the same beep; but alas, sti

Thanks to both Frogboy and Greenreaper for this one! With having Vista Business on my laptop, which I only got so I could run IIS7 and therefore develop sites and whatnot during my commute, I couldn't agree more with most of your statements. In fact, the only one I disagree with, and trust me, this is hard won disagreement, is No. 1, the UAC. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif"

Thanks Brad, After using Vista Business for a few months now on my new laptop I wholeheartedly agree with your concensus! Funnily enough, I agree with Citizen terpfan1980, as well as a whole bunch of others I've run across while searching for answers about the UAC and other niggly bits. I think I've come up with a somewhat plausible solution for the whole UAC issue: 1. Depending on the ver

xino, et al, I think with all the thought and feedback everyone has already been giving on all previous versions, alongside everything people from stardock have put in, this is gonna be a sweet program! I too wait with eager anticipation! Finally a possibility of manifesting my ideas into something to pa

Have you tried ultramon ? or checked out multimon ? Ultramon has been known to not play nicely with WindowBlinds, but I use it and haven't had issues other than you cannot change the text colour on the additional monitor(s). There's some good info in the forums there as well! Hope this helps! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle"

As I have used both full themes (thanks Gef, et al) and widgets (thanks All!) I find myself using a few widgets over and over again. I even have a "simple" theme of the usual widgets for ease of implementation. I have to agree that the themes support for multiple monitors is one reason that I stopped using them, but more so would be the need to modify each and every path for all shortcuts in a theme to the right items if you have moved them from the default windows location. It would a

I think if you began with the original skinners, of those who are still around, building up a history of who's who and why they did what they did; and then move on to the more recent in the scene and what made them start skinning! You could intersperse random interviews with Stardockians like Lantec said to make things even more interesting! Just my two pence! R

With all the current hubaloo about battery life, not to mention certain exploding batteries, I think it would behoove the notebook industry to focus on what needs fixing rather than putting more strain on an already knackered power source! Oh wait! That won't make them rich! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi

Don't stop Roman! I just got back to snivilisation and was thinking about something along these lines myself for a project coming up! Was wondering if this was possible, but I was thinking about using "server.mappath" for the db! Not sure if it would be the best practi

Thanks Thomassen! I'm happy that got cleared up! As for features, you all have made great comments on things that should be added, but I think the main issue, IMHO, (alongside the ones made above) , has always been then internal editor's interface! If that was tweaked to hold t
