#36 by Daiwa (Sat, November 05, 2005 0:40 PM) With the latest build of SDC (98) WB5 won't appear as available if WB4 is installed. Uninstall WB4 and both WB5 & WB4 will be shown as available on refresh. Conversely, if WB5 is installed, presumably WB4 won't be in the list. This approach should avoid some problems & conf
#25 by aufisch Stardock has supplied a file http://sd.stardock.com/remove7.zip Link that will undo the changes made by the last update (or so I believe), and WB5 should be visible again. is visible but not updated.
I take it you have to be in Michigan?
WC has been my homepage for years. I used to hit the majority of customize sites, but they have ebbed away to the point where WC is the place for me. I come here daily. I renew OD every year to my wife's sighs. I suscribe. [...] WB5 has the juices flowing [for trying to skin]; it's a major feather for Stardock. The staff and pe
I think this is there so you don't have to use the "default" title set by the feed? I could be wrong though!
brncofan7, I've been playing around with your RSSReader object, loving it! But here are a few things I've had to change: In the RSS_Listbox object I've had to add the following few lines: storyUrl = Replace(storyUrl, "&_amp;", "&") 'to reformat XML feed [remove underscore] storyDesc = xmlstripper("description", joedata) storyDesc = RemoveXMLFormatting(storyDesc) 'see below for use ... ... deliver this functionality without affecting performance for reasonably modern video cards Could you expand on how modern? or even what the video card would need to support? Just wondering'. <img src="http://imag
I dont know, I kinda like the "alt-tab" view. Thanks for the heads up!

Ditto to all above! I tried to swing a family visit tot he states at this time, but the parent's decided to come here instead. Oh well, please post loads and loads of pictures!
maybe this would help my pII 366mhz w/192mb mem laptop run a bit faster
I have to agree with horiz0n and steve here, I think the attributes you can directly access without having to right click > properties is something I can really use, but the look? Ugh! Maybe we can convince good ole Bill to let the Authors here work something that would completely blow the top off! Damn, could you imagine what authors like Treetog, or Essorant, or Boxxi (just to name a few right off the top, no exclusion intended! <img src="http://imag
Collie B. I had it too, but I uninstalled via SDC and waited a day (not sure why this worked) then reinstalled and it is all good now. I emailed [email protected] with the error message I received and my system specs, if you still have this problem I'm sure it would help if you emailed them too! Hope this one helps!
Yeah Phoon, the only problem is that there are a lot of program shortcuts that are installed in other directories. I have done that before, going into each folder and moving things around! But with the amount of programs I have to have installed for my work, it's a task that takes the better part of a day to organise into all the different sections! I do have one shortcut I use, and that's Xplorer2. Great app! <img src="http://images.stardock
I have just had to reformat my system due to a hardware rebuild and usual two years of work and play sluggish response. Now that I have finally gotten it back to where I want it to be, all programs, themes, walls, etc., I realised I had forgotten to save my start menu program list that I had customised. All the folders and sections are gone. So I decided that, rather
I agree with all these comments here so far, IE is the top browser but has it's own quarks, Netscape was a top browser in it's time but it had quarks too! Mozilla, Opera, and Firefox are all part of this marketing scheme, "Our browser can do this, has that, and wipes your bottom too!" ideology Standards are just tha
As a developer, and one who sunk to coding with IE specifically in mind; now that I have left the fold of the professional field and am only coding for my own enjoyment, I can understand this from both sides. I have begun the long process of re-developing my sites to be standards compliant, and this means a lot of re-coding from the ground up. But I feel this is for the best, as this will enable my work to be seen by a greater amount of people (even th
You all are great, thinking of both subscribers and the new features for non's! The site is wonderful and really fun to play around in! Thanks for making 2005 the year of WC!!!
I am eagerly awaiting this release and will keep my eyes peeled for the tray icon flashing when released! OB was one of the reasons I joined Stardock/Wincustomize many years ago! Much thanks and kudos to the developer(s) who keep my system looking insane! (This includes all the skinners out there too! I can't forget you all! )
no other issues at the moment, other than those mentioned for firefox! It looks great, can't wait til it's fully live! :HOT:
Can't wait! :hot:
firefox here please!
another non-frilly link to mine: http://randahl.wincustomize.com Hopefully I will someday get the time to take the ideas in my head and put them into action, but I've been saying that for ever now it seems! This is a great perk for supporting though! Thanks Brad, et al! [Message Edited
