Okay, finally decided to put in my 2 cents here :D Okay, for infrastucture i usually just go with the all-tech strategy. It works for me and I play pure evil so I just roll with the deficite until either i work through it or until i get the MCC built :D Then it is usually smooth sailing on economy. I think i got off really easy in my game. Arceans + Iconians + (custom race) + Altarians against the Krynn for influence... not really much of a challenge there. I lost 1 ship i think because i was stupid in how i attacked and it was at i think 3 of 8 HP. The custom race that was chosen got rolled over very quickly, it had 3 planets but was the best in military for the start of the game. I love playing against the Torians when also playing as the Yor. But then again, I like the Yor super ability a lot... I have seen a planet up to 33 i think, or something close to it. naturally it was prolly somewhere near a 28 i think. Getting ahold of one of those planets is always a good thing :D What I do in my games usually is: 1) find someone at the start of the game that is close enough to kill quickly 2) research invasion techs through advanced troop modules<

In my last full Medium sized game with the Yor, I played and played. I made a total of 5 ship designs, each of them was able to destroy a lot for more than 4 months before needing a refit. My medium hull'd ships, in a fleet of 2 or 3, were taking on fleets made up of a meat shield (battleship or heavy cruiser) and some smaller ships (usually cruisers and heavy fighters). My last fleet of medium ships was lvl 30 - 34 and finally was killed in a raid on a planet with the Orbital Fleet Defense,

I just finished a game as the Yor on Medium size wherein the Super Isolationist was the best super ability around. Having 19 move dreadnoughts against 3 move battalions of fleets gave me a much bigger advantage than I could have obtained any other way. One thing that I do not like about the way that I play in general is that I am not aggressive enough and do end up turtleing by protecting my space with overwhelming force of 2 Medium sized ships. My Medium hulls kept myself from losing
