i check these forums daily to see if there's any news on any of the many updates the game is supposed to have received. i wouldn't expect updates, but key features seem missing and the game had a TON of technical problems at launch. unfortunately, i leave the page unsatisfied everyday, because the updates that were supposed to be coming may not even surface, at least not close to their tentative release dates. GPG hasn't even released a demo, and the game still lacks repla
how about we fix the gameplay before we fix the items. bugs and game crashes are more important, but thanks to everyones incessant bitching they are nerfing items before fixing the game. Thanks, idiots
i agree with this notion. cookie cutter builds and what not should be focused on by the community and developers alike after the game is functional and competitive (structurally) enough to warrant
stats aren't reliable at all. i have a loss from a game which i won. the only person who got the win from the game was a person on the other team, who left before his citadel was destroyed. i made a thread on these forums about it and posted a screenshot with proof of my team's win. my partner and i had a clear victory, having insane favor (i had 195), no deaths, and not a single structure loss. i fail to see a reason to even bother with the pantheon if losin
i played with friends in custom games, because i bought this game with having a premade in mind. unfortunately, i found my friends and i generally just ended up pubstomping people. this resulted in us playing together much, much less.
Game dev's should be given permission to beat or at least send some hired goons round to some peoples houses. The gaming community is getting sickeningly self-centered and self-righteous. But keep hounding them you fecking retard. Give it a few years when games companies simply get fed up and start turning out average shite just to make a sale like the music industry, and the only people to blame will be ourselves. We're not gods or kings
currently, how this works is just frustrating altogether, and for me, it means i'm not going to touch pantheon again until the next patch. it would have been more beneficial to my record to have played this particular game to lose and plugged/exited as soon as my citadel was under fire. dumb.
additional info: maybeisthebest left first few moments later, i got the disconnect window with wizarxDK dropping. he was out after about 5 seconds then the citadel died and i was given random messages

the mechanic is fine as it stands. choosing good times to upgrade should be important the problem is being paired with a random that doesn't care about your input or experience.
good things that separate demigod from dota: 1) the ability, via gold, to upgrade grunts (creeps), structures, gold income, xp, and add additional/unique units to your grunt spawns. 2) the flag control system. keeping your towers alive as long as possible is still important for map control, but keeping certain flags and taking the enemy's flags are just as important. 3) the consumable items are more abundant, creative, and useful 4) the general demigods a
there are some valid complaints here, like not receiving a coupon despite having owned demigod for a while or not having a reasonable way of using the coupon however, complaining about the actual value of the coupon is in poor taste, and the expiration date was pretty clear to me in my e-mail.
the proxies! they do nothing!
stryker, you are the definition of a shit poster.
i don't think there's a shortage of maps or clear-cut balance issues. i don't see how anyone can make statements otherwise. on the whole, the community's competitive experience has been limited to PUBs. balance has to be put under the microscope and examined. i don't think that's really possible, yet, because the games aren't competitive enough due to factors like random teammates and the game being NEW. a lack of maps? everyone has exhausted themselves
player rankings mean little at the moment for more than one reason but they mainly mean little because there's no supported "league" play in a team-centric game. a privately supported league would mean more than patheon or custom rankings.
those kinds of items are not needed at this point in time.

While playing as humans I sent a small fleet to a nearby planet even though I didn't have enough fuel(Never had a problem like this in Sins) so I had to go the rest of the way through normal space but ran out of petro or whatever before reaching the planet! My question is, what do I need to do to rescue my fleet of ships stuck in the middle of

the formula for simultaneously controlling multiple idol minions of the same archetype (ex: multiple ranks of priest minions) is enough to conclude that this "tactic" is an exploit. it's obvious that players are able to bypass the "2 of each minion-type" rule GPG set in place by following said formula, making the "tactic" an exploit. the exploit might not be effective or practical all the time due to mechanics such as AoE, but it's still an exploit. i've never tried it o
