1. Get rid of the pathing/targeting bugs 2. Add teaming 3. Make it so that in a Player vs. Player match, if all of Team A leaves, then Team B should get an automatic win (loss for Team A) without even being given the option of fighting bots. It's kind of nice that a bot will take over for a D/C or something, but an entire team leaving is a concession on their part. It should be fully treated as such. side stuff a. think about adding a party wi
this bug have been present , and reported since since beta 1
amazing. this is exactly the kind of bug that burns me out on a game.
players and devs should always be concerned about balance, even if the game is a day old. players just shouldn't be alerting the devs every time they lose to something. i think that kind of behavior just tends to make devs wary of player suggestions.
clearly a troll post. solo new players should go into single player tournament mode and try out a couple of the DGs just to get familiar with the tree lines. you don't have much time to view them while playing other players, so you might feel rushed in selecting abilities and therefore misread tooltips etc
i've been avoiding pantheon, because the first time and only time i got into a game, i was matched with and against teams full of bots. thanks for the heads up. i'll tell my friend who keeps complaining about losing favor (second time he's had his points disappear) that he's dumb for playing in it.
aside from the multiplayer issues, i think the most gamebreaking issue players face is the targeting bug. a lot of us have encountered it, and i'm sure it's been talked about a lot. i fix it by quickly right clicking ground and then hitting the ability again, so if anyone has a quicker method please inform. as far as i can tell, the bug is random and occurs when a player hits a hotkey to active an ability, left clicks his/her target, and the ability does not trigger.
random teaming is important for new players and more casual play. i used to AT and RT in wc3, but i wouldn't have RT'd if i thought i'd be fighting arranged teams with my PUG. also, i don't think i'd get much out of beating a random team with my arranged team. for example, after playing L4D since it's release, i'm dying for its looking 4 four system to be out in at least 2 months. i have a group that plays together frequently, and i don't think pub stomping is partic
a team should be able to be formed for every game type. for skirmishes and pantheon, a team should be matched against another team, not a PUG.
i would think sedna and QoT are less played on pantheon, because it's a gamble picking a support DG for a PUB group. you might end up backing other support DG or badly played assassions. anyway, i think since you can stack heroes in DG, you're going to see some annoying and devastating comps
can we keep the general QQ to chat please? should only make threads dealing with specific problems
EXTREAM sucess yet?
despite my complaining, i do wish P2P would have worked out.
i do like the idea of feeders giving diminishing returns, for various reasons but then again, i like it better when teams with feeders lose as fast as possible, even if it's my own team. the game is less frustrating or less boring for everyone involved if the game ends faster.
chris taylor should light the OP on fire irl imo.

steam and valve have had and have their problems. people who say otherwise have a selective/bad memory or haven't been around very long. it doesn't excuse stardock and its impulse, but quit bringing up other companies and services when you're completely wrong about your claims anyway, if game developers and publishers need to realize one thing it's that if you want a large, loyal customer base for a multiplayer game, then you're going to have to invest a lot of time and re
1. Bad multiplayer network 2. No tutorial 3. No campaign or story If this game was like other multiplayer games like Team Fortress 2, Quake wars. Then it should be a $30 game or less. So even if they fix the multiplayer issues, it'll give the game an extra 10 points in review, but no where near the 90s.
TF2 was 35 dollars at first if i remember correctly
i have a story about a type of player that ruins games. i had an oak on my team in a 3v3 skirmish and i was regulus. he kept going in by himself and dying. he did this until he was 1-15 or something. my other partner told him to stop dying and play more carefully by not going in alone. i told the oak to either spend his gold on our citadel upgrades or, better, buy HP and armor items (he had less HP than me). neither of us made fun of him really or said he w
at least IGN was thoughtful enough to point out that the game WILL get better and that the game itself is very good. let's not forget that 1up said it was doing a rereview. hopefully stardock/gpg get their acts together for when that happens.
To start, it's an unfair review coming from Gamespot. They give mediocre and bad MMOs good ratings (8.0+) that don't fix major issues within months of release, and they've given multiplayer-focused games stellar reviews (see: UT 2004) WITHOUT mentioning a lack of a single player/story-based campaign as a downside. Not to mention, I'm not reading anything about GameSTOP messing up the release. It is fair as far as the connectivity issues go. I would h
I was messing around with UB in single player. He seems to suffer from more pathing issues than the other heroes I've played. I've had him stop just short of towers and have had to reposition him to get him to attack. I've also had to repeatedly click on an enemy hero to keep him chasing, as he would stop in his tracks, otherwise. And ooze is great DPS in addition to his other damage over time moves, imo at least.
