He's 0-2 with Erebus. He was obviously carried by it's over-powered nature.
Extacide
Thxxx : I'll try that. But I'm still at the stage where I'm in awe & terrified by a competently played Erebus.
Heres a hint: An Erebus played properly can counter the living crap out of a regulus/TB. Regulus and TB are ranged and dependent on distance to survive and do damage. Erebus has one skill that shuts out this advantage, at which point if you aren't superiorly geared/leveled, he'll probably kill you one vs one. The way yo
Translation: LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GAME
I don't know what we'd do without your translations. I'd probably be 5 miles from my house wandering in confusion if it wasn't for your infallible insight to give me direction in life.
chris701: Got spanked too hard. ;_;
These would have to be high-up artifacts, because auto-attack is only viable late game. Caster skills are extremely powerful everywhere before. Other then that, caster skills ultimately become useless in the dragged out endgame when player can stack life and only take scratches.
I know one AoW. What game?
Lol, I'm not going through each of your points again. And no, 4k makes a difference regardless, if you don't think so then you need to play more.
Mhm.
So basically hiding behind your towers the entire game.
Nope. Roll+Slam. Auto attack. Kite. Kite. Roll+Slam. Kite. Kite. I'm being pretty generous with my items in this situation, assuming I'm not in my optimal build. I've never had a problem with any UB on rook before. In a level 20 vs 20 perfect setup, rook probably wont win, but the game isn't about ultimate setups. It's about micro-management, and I never allow a UB to farm past
It needs to not be so unfun that it pushes people away from playing.
I truly sympathize with players who suck at this game and then alt+f4 when they can't put two and two together because they lose. So it goes back to putting blame onto the game itself for incompetence.
And 4k gold can make a HUGE difference early on
Against crappy players, yes. Against even players, you need to play a little be
F*** the citadel.
I wont say NERF yet, but I really feel the huge gold reward for killing DGs throws the game out of whack.
Explain.
If one person on the team makes a few bad choices early on and dies say
If they were just mistakes, the person can easily make up for it if he's a better player. If he sucks, then thats the nail in the coffin, as it should be.
4 times before level 8 to
No, just Paranon, you are Extacide from AoW, correct? Anyway King Mel got the game too, if you remember him.
AoW..? Doesn't ring any bells if thats supposed to be a game, or community, or clan. Theres one other person on the internet who happens to use my same alias and has my IRL name as well. And I know him. -_- Might be him, not me. But I'm not sure, neither of those names are familiar.
On that point, I agree with innociv
Yeah, I got DG. Your name is unfamiliar, although I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess Exteel?
I can't remember the numbers for each level though.
So its a good idea, amirite. Even if I did know exact numbers and time, I can't count exact seconds in my head and not miss a a dot or two while trying to concentrate on many things at once, let-alone not noticing the acid spit mid-way due to clutter and the size of the ico
When you're under the effect of acid spit, the icon should tell you exactly how much damage you're taking per second, and how long

You can't tell by the floaty damage icons that pop up above your head every time it deals damage?
Please tell me how what you say is exactly the same as what I suggest, and how it gives as much information. Then tell me why I shouldn't have this information.
When you're under the effect of acid spit, the icon should tell you exactly how much damage you're taking per second, and how long. As much as I'd like to keep track of my opponent's level and damage, I'm not asian. I can keep track of most things, and do the math to gauge whether or not to fight; But the acid spit eludes me. Mainly because I never really play unclean beast to track it myself. Regardless, this is utterly vital in making quick judgements that can save yo
You won't outrun UB with the same items because he has +movespeed skills.
He also won't out-last you one vs. one in the correct build to counter.
Assuming someone else may have the same speed items as well, thats a definate yes.
If they get the same speed items, you're the same speed. If they're running from you, they're not attacking you.
Not only that, but UB and sedna gain speed on skills, wich may make them even faster regarless of specific items.
Okay, and as a Rook you have this skill called Slam. Tends to be dangerous to walk into.
uh... rook is the slowest of them all. it doesn't matter how much speed gear you put on it, someone else is always going to be faster (specially UB)
Really? The in-game laws of physics clearly define that rook is always 10% slower no matter what items? I need to see when they implemented this, because my experiences greatly differ from yours.
I agree with most of what hes saying, but the keyword most is a clue into the epic breakdown I'm going to make out of his suggestion.
But what about ganking, warding and backdooring?
I'm not sure about you, but the more popular maps in 2v2/3v3 that I'm accustomed to playing: Prison, Exile, Cataract, etc.) are very easily back-doored. The portals are usually the farthest away from the citadel in corners, and will always have t
Darkfall was looking like a nice game. It's too bad aventurine is not nearly as transparent as stardock/GPG have been. A well earned $40 indeed. Keep up the good work.
they still need to make it a bit balanced for teams that get the short end in the beginning.
But there isn't a balance there. If someone gets more kills, accrues more gold, more EXP, and overal superor game play, it should be imbalanced. In an extreme form, that's like asking for level 1s to be able to fight level 20s. In a less extreme argument, you can't just fuck up in the beginning and expect the game to be modified so you have an equal advantage when
If in stubborn stupidity Regulus were not to take the shot, then neither I get kill credit + kill money for it nor Regulus gets assist credit + gold as he should get were he to take the shot and be credited with an assist.
You assisted him in making the kill. It was out of your ability to actually make a kill. If not for regulus, you have no kill. You assisted in his kill. The only benefit this gives is to satisfy someone like you t
I won a game yesterday 2v2 in a pantheon. Was fortress. We completely lost the early game, 0-3 and 2-5. We managed to keep farming in the mid game and held our fortresses and were higher in level due to their over-aggression and our disciplined farming and retreating. We eventually made a quick switch to destroy a fort. They tried to take ours and we started racking up kills. Early game kills do not make it impossible to come back when you know how to play.
It won't let me look at the tournament settings.
1) Theres gold rewards for assists. 2)
This is due to the fact that, when there are skill difference between DGs of opposing team, the higher skill players
That quote is the /thread. If one team sucks, and the other team sucks, they lose. Don't over-compensate for a lack of skill by blaming the game mechanics. At any rate, the amount of gold that creeps drop is horrendous. Keep the kill gold the same, and stop
