I can't get a mod for the ultimate edition anyway. I could use some help on this. What I would like to see though is about 31 or more civs on a unlimited size map, with a more balance AI's. Except for the torians, Thalans, and Iconians, for which I think these AI's are challenging and don't need to be scaled down.

I would like to see not just a module, but the best from all the modules in a upgrade. I like the thalans, torians, and iconians, but the other AIs suck especially the drengin, arcean, and dominion of korx. I would like to see the drath revert back to the dread lord game. Only talking about the abilities not the AI. Let the iconians have the new draft abilities instead of splitting up the old draft abilities between the draft and the iconians. If you have to have a 100 in military, economics,
The game should have had tactical control from the beginning. As it is now combat is a joke. Players should always have control of THEIR units. If the programmers continue to refuse to correct this mistake then maybe it's time to boycott the game. The programmers have known about this problem from the beginning. The programmers have known for some time now that the players want that mistake corrected. And still, after all this time, the the
With tactical battles my games would take even longer to complete than they do now. I would probably play with this option turned off (if possible). I don't know if anyone's played Star Fleet Battles (tabletop Star Trek battle game), but maybe Stardock can make something similar for Galactic Civilizations before they work on GC3? In the Star Fleet game everyone has points to spend on their fleet, and then those fleets go h
The AI's ships are not powerful enough try 109 attack and 109 defense for like the more powerful weapons. I also don't like how slowly the AI changes their tactics. If I go up against lasers with shields and against their shields with missiles they wont even attempt to counter this until either towards right before their defeat or with another AI
Hi its me again thanks for the advise. The problem is the fact that this took place two years ago, and I didn't have the Internet. But if this would've happened I would've never played the dread lords which redeemed galactic civilizations, probably be only playing civilization or sins of a solar empire today. I just wished I could've realized the expansion [ack dread lords was harder. Because twilight of the Arnor rocks. I would recommend if your not customizing, and playing a sand boxed game
I really don't like how they done the draft. First I don't like how they divided up their abilities between the iconians and the draft for dark avatar. I don't like how they took away their military production. This is what I don't like. They have a good idea, and they can't keep it. Ai wise all their good for is starting wars, but they can't fight. But my opinion is the reason they changed the drath abilities. Is because it made a rough draft for the korath clan, and because the iconia
I like twilight the only AI's that are challenging however is the torians, iconians, and thalans. I've been thinking about customizing. Any time I've ever played the AI I find that even when they don't research weapons on there own, if you give them space weapons that fixes the problem. Start all custom races with space weapons, and most of them will have lasers with rarely guns. Compared to dark avatar comments baffle me, comparing AI in dark avatar to dread lords or twilight of the arnor, a
Can you just send them to instead
First of all I think your on advanced algorithms if the krynn AI is powerful, The krynn rocked in dark avatar, but sucked in twilight of the arnor. This is what I'm saying they come up with a good idea to play a AI, but they keep taking a good race, and dummying him down. I would like them to stop doing that. I like what they did to the thalans, iconians, and torians, but I would like them to have left the dread arcens, terrans, and torians alone. The iconians should've left the challenging f
Wow I don't know where to start this is my two cents a survey module is not a sensor. It has a different purpose. I like cargo hulls for transports. They have a lot of room, unless you have large or huge hulls ships. There cheap. I would not worry about population, but if I did colony or transport ships from larger populations are good. A good morale booster is low taxes. My question is are rebellions still going on in the game, because that is what a low approval caused in dark avatar. I don
Well, as far as I've seen, the best choice is to use the weapons with the best damage/size ratio if I want to build some of them in a useful ammount of time. Also, about fleet tactics, I've seen something strange. Playing the Dread Lord champaign (which is nice but is also very repetitive and sometimes frustrating), I've built big battleship with the ... hm... Xalax coordinator. Not sure about the name, but it is the one that improves fle
I can't really say about other races because I am a big fan of Krynn or Torians, because of the Super Breeder or the morale bonuses. In regard to the Technologists or the Industrialists, this can also be reproduced with the slider if your economy was that good. It really depends on how you play. I am a approval player. Keep approval high to increase population, tourism, and influence high. economy is secondary. This makes Populists the most preferable party ever
Yes its a better game as far as I know its all the expansions including twilight of the arnor.
I know what you are talking about, unless its a specialized planet or planetary invasion it is not a concern. Yes you only have one chance to communicate. If you don't on that screen, you can't talk to them. If this is a bug I don't want them to get rid of it. Try instead of resetting the game, keep playing the game. My favorite is when I'm in the corner, and the thalans are in the other corner. The races around you and you are on par with techs, but the thalans are really advanced. Trade wit

No thanks, right now I don't even want to play the game. I just tried a new one, building nothing but Factories and Colony Ships and I still couldn't keep up to the Thalans. That's not my idea of strategy, that's just pursuing a narrow minded path and hoping you g

I like twilight of the arnor also I like dread lords I didn't like dark avatar. In dread lords it was a challenge. Then someone had to cry the dread lords is to hard. Ruining everything. Then dark avatar came out good game with a crappy ai. Then twilight of the arnor came out, good game. The thalans, torians, and iconians are challenging. What I didn't like they scaled down the drengin, terrans, korath, and krynn. I didn't like what they did to the espionage of the krynn and iconians. It defin
They are for ToA on a tough or painful level. You will get a higher level of play from them as the level modifiers are built into the custom race files. You won't need to go higher on the difficulty level, but you can if your into pain! I don't get into metaverse play so I'm not sure if they'll work. I imagine not as metaverse play would be an equalizer so that all players are playing on the same level for evaluation. But your we

Wow I like both ideas especially konov. One thing that doesn't help the later game a lot of people seem to be doing is not building. Another thing people seem to be doing is not colonizing. If I wasn't going to build I would at least build factories my beginning rule is for class 1-9 1 factory 10-13 2 factories 14 3 factories 1 additional factory for every 4 classes above that, and a starport. Why such low industrialization. You start of with 3000 bc use it. lower your taxes to make your appr
Your missing one thing What kind of factories do you have. Do you have power plants. How many planets do you have. How many factories are on the planets. Whats your production percent . And whats your military production percent. If any of these are low then you have a problem producing good stuff. You should try to put four factories the best you have. With quantem power plants, and see what happen. If you are the torians trade for factories, If you are the thalans you will need to trade for
In 1957 they build the x15 if the Russians hadn't beat us in space we would have built the first space shuttle x20 in 1959 instead of 1963. In 1970 we started building the space shuttle, we did not replace it until 2007. And never built it. It took 2 years to go from space labs to the miir space station. We are still building a better space station. My point in these illustrations is that it takes longer to figure out better techs and stuff. Also how are you playing the game. When Iplay the g
The only thing I have to say is get creativity it makes a difference in speeding up your research. I also have to say about creativity is in other that ta games creativity has it's own techs. the industrial bonuses are factories approval bonuses are entertainment networks healing pools wellness falls temples and what not the research bonuses are research labs farming are farming what nots percentile bonuses doesn't work on these including factories and wonders. </p
What there are trying to say is that you only have one first attack capability you don't need two. i'm actually confusing myself isn't that the super warrior ability making that tech useless from troll
